I found myself watching this because I stumbled upon a ton of doilies!!!! So perfect video! Bc I was thinking - WTH am I going to do with all these!? And had total crafters block. I was blank!!! So thank you!!!! However- this message is from my bird Rizzo!!! She just loves when I watch you, and hears Holly sings for us! The best part is! My bird hears him!!! Lol. I have to rewatch the videos because she starts communicating with him!!! And all I wind up hearing is two birds!!! She has officially taken on mimicking some of his sounds (in a different tone, since they have different tones!) when I’m watching your stuff!!

The back of the Christmas polka dots is plain white. If you fold it with the dots on the inside, whatever you fill it with will cover most of the dots.😊 The first two nights my Timneh boy was home, he did a very loud smoke detector noise when I turned out the lights. He hasn’t done it since.💝

How ironic that you made this video about doilies. I have been actively researching ideas on what to do with mine. So thank you for this! They make a great backdrop for a journal page too. I saw someone on Pinterest make a butterfly with doilies by folding a certain way and layering them. They used liquid pearls for the center piece (body) of the butterfly. Yes, I love the clear envelope pouches with the snap closure the best. Wasn't too happy with the zippered plastic pouches, cause I bought a 2 pack and one of the zippered pouches zip closure went off track so that either direction I went, would not close envelope pouch. What I have most of are crocheted doillies! Doilies are fun! I stamp mine with pretty floral stamps using some of the more subtle distress oxides, like Antique Linen and Pumice Stone. For the pocket you made from the heart doilies, if you fold the sides in once more on a slight angle making the opening a touch wider at the top than the bottom, you will get a sort of vase shape that just begs for a bouquet, but that will hold a tag just as well. And, if you fold over the top of the pocket made from the heart doily, it will look just like a regular envelope. See? I told you they were fun. ~ Lisa

Rather than using a die cutting machine and using a tool to remove All of those little cut outs, these are Already Die Cut Saving Us a Huge Step! :)

I am guilty to when I see them I just have to have them, lol Really great ideas I love the pocket idea and its great the way you decorate them. I have those same plastic envelopes from Dollar Tree I just purchased more yesterday, I store my decoupage napkins in them I just rip off all the layers and store them that way it takes up less space. I love making mermaid journals. I have dyed a whole bunch of doilies for the journals (ink sprays and ink pads). Love this idea to make pockets instead of just plopping them in a journal. TY for your wonderful ideas!

I've bought this morning a pack of doilies and i've used one as a stencile for an envelope spraying it with some roiboi tea. Thank you so so much for all the ok ideas I will certainly replicate some. You should be sponsored by that glue company, try to contact them who knows. I will do a colored doili with a 1€ copper tempera that I've also bought today.
