Tip of the iceberg, think of the possibilities in a fully realised universe, to recreate, enact, write new science fiction, with a full compliment of actors, ships, effects, and physics, SC is going to be a whole new medium, a la Ready Player One. Then imagine them doing Warhammer 40k with the same tech, or the Alien Universe, Transformers, etc

Most people watching won't realize the flight time and stunt flying that went into this. I know it's a game but they had to really fly for most of that. Sure some shots are cheated or repeated but they had to fly two ships, one spinning, match the spin and dock. Docking that ship to the other has never been easy even when the ship is stationary. This old content still holds up showing off how good Star Citizen was then. It's far better now. This stands as a testament to the awesomeness of those who filmed this and it also speaks volumes about the game and how good it is.

This was amazing great uses of foip , piloting and showing off the new docking . I think around patch 3.0 era someone's ship or misssion glitched, they needed pickup and were eva just above atmo of daymar. I went to pick up with my new cutlass as i pulled up they managed to catch the atmosphere and began free falling i dove after opened all the doors and what ensued was several minutes of trying to deal with lag, matching speed, angle and them typing where i needed to go , ultimately was unsuccessful as they were bouncing around to much to get a reliable catch but we were so close a couple times before we got to the ground . One of my favorite star citizen stories i experienced.
