EDIT : Since some of you requested the lip balm recipe, here it is ! Use 1 spoon of beeswax for 4 spoons of oil (and not 50/50 like I said in the video !), melt them together over a Bain Marie, and put it in a pot. You can add a few drops of essential oil while melting if you wish, just be sure this oil can be applied on skin. This recipe is originally from the book "Zero waste" by Béa Johnson. Good evening ! Honestly, your natural skin is so pretty you don’t even need foundation! I’m with you on primer. It does zero for my skin or makeup application. I also use my clean fingers to apply my foundation instead of a sponge. I think it’s easier to get a smooth finish. Less stuff to deal with as well. Thank you for all your hard work. for the highlighter, I find that the effect isn't easy to see when looking at your face straight on, like in a mirror. But when you take a picture of yourself from another angle you can see the difference. So it's one of those things that other people notice more than you will. Also I like to apply highlighter in the same places as you but also I put some on the tip of my nose and the inner corner of the eye

We admire the French, almost minimalist, sensibilities when it comes to clothing and makeup. Sensible around food,too. Moderation, NOT deprivation. Envious of women with cleft chins/chin dimple, like Diane has. I used to try making a dimple by pinching my chin. Lol. Also, I have used contouring to try to create that trait. Surgery is the only way, so will stick with my own chin. Thanks..🤭🤭🤭 Another challenge is making my closer-set eyes look wider-set. It seems easier to do the opposite. Your makeup is beautiful and honestly you’re foundation has a natural luminance so you don’t really need highlighter, but if you do want to use it try putting it a little higher like high cheekbone/temple area and patting it on rather than swiping motions. Most highlighters are milled so finely that swiping motions make it disappear. Also putting a little bit on the inner corner of your eyes is my favorite way to wear highlighter.

When it comes to eye shadows I always fall asleep :) It's so relaxing and calming! Make-up just corresponds perfectly with your natural allure. I was trying to work on another language version of subtitles, but I do not know how it works in amara.

As you said that you didn’t see a difference with the highlighter I noticed it. Usually highlighter isn’t seen well with our own eyes ..I definitely see the difference! One time I thought I wasn’t putting enough highlighter and as soon as I went outside, the sunlight hit my face and I put more than enough LOL

I think your makeup is lovely and everything about this video is wonderful. As far as brows, maybe just use a brow brush/comb and give them a quick brushing. The face powder lightens the brows. Brushing them will reshape and darken them a bit.

As a 'not a make-up person' myself, I can feel you when you are not sure about the products where and how to use. I don't even own a foundation. And as you do, I prefer make-up as a way to highlight the natural structure of my face♀️

For fair skin, the pale highlighter doesn't have any effect for me either. I use a brown-orange highlighter. It helps blend my concealer to my cheek color. I use it in the all the same places you mentioned in the video, plus a straight line down the nose. I've seen some people who also use it in the corners of their inner eyes. This video was fun.

My favorite type of asmr is people just doing mundane tasks very slowly. That’s why I generally love being around older people. When they are quietly doing something and they make like old people noises. I strangely get more of a reaction when people are just being silent and are really focusing on what they’re doing. Idk lol. But yeah this was right up my ally!

I use highlighter only on my eyes as eye shadow, or sometimes on my lips to add shine. I live in the Caribbean and any kind of highlighter indeed just looks like you are sweating, in my opinion. Also, highlighter always makes skin look extremely textured. Edit: the inner corner of my eyes, that’s my favorite place to use highlighter
