This brings back MEMORIES! I was born in 1980, my mom was a waitress at the diner across the street, and she would wear those exact press ons! Great video!

I'm curious, if you can remember that is, did they actually last? I just feel like they would pop off in an hour with those sticky tabs back then. I've never tried using the tabs that came with press ons, I always used the glue or my own gel glue.

Black women around me didn’t get their nails done because they didn’t have that kinda money and because there weren’t any nail salons close by. They did their own nails and they were beautiful. That’s why this video brought back so many memories of my mom, who recently passed away, doing her nails and mine ( because of course she had to do mine when she did hers). My mama was the best ❤

Evie’s son is autistic. With Maya having communication issues she may be on the spectrum as well. Hearing Evie describe her violent behavior, I see the same but worse in my 4 year old grandson. He was diagnosed stage 3 autistic ( The highest stage and the one that takes the most to work with) along with a ton of other diagnosis’s to boot. I knew he was autistic when he was a baby, he never made eye contact with us like normal babies do, but now that he is 4 pre- school would be ideal, but my poor baby can’t communicate his wants or needs. Because he screams, he hits when he can’t make the words to say what he wants, but when he isn’t doing the other two, he will walk up to us, grab our hands and attempt to pull us to where he is having an issue. I don’t take it personal and neither does his mother. We are trying to get him therapy, but the insurance is dragging their feet on his speech and occupational therapy alone. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Hang in there Ashley 🥹🫂

I remember when I was a kid, probably between the ages of 9 and 12, I would walk down to a pharmacy that was within walking distance from my house with my little brother or my one friend. They had Wet n Wild nail polish, and I think it was two for a dollar or something like that, and also, they had 10 cent candy. I would use my allowance to buy the nail polish in candy so I would end up spending like 5 or 10 dollars on nail polish and get like 10 or 20 nail polishes each time. I had a huge collection at that time.😂😂 then I would get a bag of 10 cent candy. They had the laffy taffy, the ones that were strawberry with the little pieces of sprinkles in it or the watermelon that had the little black candy watermelon seeds in it. I loved those. Those were the days. I also remember the times that my little brother and I would steal from there. I would make him steal me makeup. Obviously, I wasn't being a good big sister. 😂😂

Oh, I remember so many of these products.😂😂 😅 I would go down to the five and dime store and I would buy a box of Revlon silk hair coloring for $1.98 to 2.50 a box! 😅 Oh my gosh, that was the good days the good good days😊 On eBay, I purchased an unopened sealed, electronic bingo game! It was old!😅. And it works perfectly. I think I paid like $75 for it but what a find.😊 🙌❤️❤️❤️

Love this video. It brings back great memories. Press on nails have come a long way. I remember the Lee Press On Nails too. I was so into those even though they didn't stay on very long. I even tried to make my own press on nails in 2nd grade at school once by putting Elmer's glue on my nails; letting it dry and then peeling it off. I was going to paint them and glue them on when I got in trouble from the teacher for "wasting glue" lol. You did an awesome job putting on these vintage nails. Thank you for the great memories ❤

I also got fired from daycare for not being able to sleep, I couldn't lay still and the adults were verbally abusive about it even though I stayed where I was supposed to. It was missed as a child but in my 30's I found out I'm autistic, which explained so much. It was likely missed for me because I was a girl. Keep an eye on your little miss. If you already have one ND child, the probability is higher that you have two and girls often go undiagnosed.. Also, wow, seeing the vintage nail stuff is like being thrown back 30 years. Very cool.

Girrrrrllll I am soooo proud of you for trying these kits 😂😂 I was born in '82, so you did that 👏🏽👏🏽 The cotton cand, babbbyyyyy had Mr in a choke hold!! Had to get some gel polish to replace it this year and still on a hunt for that magenta color with the cotton candy iridescence 😍😍 Side note: I love how Marcus fixed that beautiful wedding ring. Very attentive 😌🥰💕💜

Love this Evie!!! The discolored sponge holder is hilarious!! Frosted Colors were so "In" back then. I was born in 1970, I don't remember press on's at all 💖

😊 shoutout to the 80's... this post was so nostalgic... i knew that ur wheels were turning and was wondering when to expect all of the colors in Patty Gel 💅 the cotton candy and the other 3 colors might be a vibe.. 👍🏾

Marcus: ' some old vintage mess' 😂 this video was so amazing. Please do more of this!!!!!! You and Marcus are great parents. My oldest son used to have a speech problem and I remember how frustrating it was for him. God bless you and your family. Your face lit up when you talk about your mom. Nails bring me alot of joy too. Your channel is always so fun. Happy Saturday 😊❤ ( maybe you guys can bring back vlogs when you can)❤

The burgundy set is super cute. I think the iridescent in the polish turned the nails yellow. Chrome powder with that iridescent color also turns the base yellow if it's a light color. 💜
