I am so glad to hear how long it takes you to do a full set of nails. Because people love what I do with my own nails, and they always ask me to do their nails, but I usually say no because of how long it takes me. I usually do a different design on each nail and it takes me about 5 hours to do them. Since I not a trained nail tech I thought that was way to long, so you made me so much better about myself. Thank you😁

I totally agree, working from home is brilliant. I’m a dog groomer and started my business when my youngest child was 18mth old. I could arrange work hours around school pick ups and school holidays. 16 years on and still going strong, starting my business was the best move ever.

Loved this type of video, and the length was perfect 👌 I’m glad you’re more at ease with the whole COVID-19 situation- I think it’s pretty bizarre that such a situation has in a way brought all of us closer- seeing as we all over the world struggled with the same issues, from fear, to social distancing to no tp😂 I’m glad you’re dealing with the situation and that you’re not afraid of showing emotions and telling us of your struggles. I’m pretty sure we have all felt them too.❤️ I was the one who asked the question about your fav place to travel. Greece is absolutely amazing, the culture the people and the whole experience is wonderful. It’s been a few years since I was there last, but it’s def on my travel bucket list when all this is said and done( the virus situation I mean) this year we’re going to the north of Norway- with probably half of the population 🤣😂 to visit family. If ever you would consider Norway as a destination I can 100% say that Lofoten is the place to go. Gorgeous nature and midnight 🌞 sun. My best vacation evvvvver was all inclusive in Mexico. Wow what a place- we only stayed for one week, but we tried to book a second week while there😁 but it was of course full. Puerto Vallarta was the most relaxing week of our lifes❤️❤️ btw- if you have trouble with pronouncing my name- it’s Siw as a sieve- only with less 🕳 holes in it😁😂😅aaanyways thanks for answering our q’s and I love the kittens poking their heads out, just like at our house🙏🏼🤣

I enjoyed this video and I hope to see more. I appreciate you opening up about how Covid affected you personally. It was very relatable. I have a question (and feel free to refer me to a video if this has already been answered) How long did it take for you to get comfortable doing gel nail enhancements? How much practice did you put in (let’s say weekly) to get to that point? Thank you for sharing Talia!

I would love if you did a review of the Le mini macaron LED lamp. I know it’s a very beginner kit, and I’m skeptical about the “1-step” gel polish. But I’m mostly curious what you think of the lamp itself. I mostly use light elegance and Luminary (my new favorite!). But I’m a new-ish nail tech with a day job so I’m wondering if the lamp would be good enough to cure luminary at my desk or while traveling.

This video was so fantastic. How do you think the strong product compares to Luminary?
@TaliasNailStudio4 жыл бұрын
I find luminary to be super strong. Like it feels stronger and more attached to your nail I guess, almost reminds me of acrylic. Which is great for those who want to wear a mani longer but I find it harder to remove than the strong. Both are great options 😊
@crystalwynne38894 жыл бұрын
@@TaliasNailStudio thanks for the info! I have terrible natural nails. If I get any amount of growth, they'll rip at the free edge right into the nail bed and it hurts. I've been using luminary in clarity and I really like it.

I’ve been using the Base method on my mom but I’d like to try this Strong build up method next time, do you have to cure it longer when you make it thicker? I had some wrinkling with the polish if applied too thick.
@TaliasNailStudio4 жыл бұрын
No you don’t cure it longer, just the regular times it calls for. It’s clear so the lights penetrate through it. You’ll get wrinkling with colors applied to thick because the lights can’t penetrate through it

I loved this style of video. I have been watching you on KZbin since your 1st video on this channel. I may not have kids but covid has been hard on me also. I decided to renovate my home nail studio during covid and I’m still working on it.. it’s my happy place and the fact that I can’t be in my nail room and my nail supplies are everywhere in my house is driving me nuts.. Question: Where or how do you get inspiration for nail designs with your clients or your self?
