If you are from a science background and want to go in research then go in reserch institute (like Iisc TIFR IISER etc )or go top IITs (like IIT Bombay ,IIT Kanpur ,IIT madras ..) These are very good institute to persue phd

Bro.... selection is one thing and research is another.... on this basis of selection of phd in any department....you can't judge the research of each and every department of AMU..... Go and check out the research of amu students published in several journals like taylor and Frances, elesiver, Springer... etc... Yes, biasness is every where...not only in AMU, but DU and JMI also.... You will see this thing after 2 and 3 years of phd when you apply for an assistant professor position in these universities.... Ya .... One thing University should upgrade the labour system and other facilities for research scholars .... So... brother don't mix-up admission process to research...... because we also did our Phd from AMU.... Great university....but incompetent administration...

Bhai mai kashmir mai rehta hu aur mera ssb ka exam jammu mai tha north kashmir se jammu 250 km hai 1p0 rs fee tha 25000 rs kharach hue ek ghate ke exam ke liye abhi bhi koi guarantee nahi hai k kuch hoga bas paise kharchwane hai in logon ko agr ek gareeb insan hoga usko to raat bhar bahar kisi railway station pr ratein guzarni hongi kesi country mai jee rahe hum log yaar kisi foreign country mai hote pata nahi kya kuch nahi kar rahe hote 😑 Unlucky people 😢

بلکل درست بھائی میں بھی نٹ کوالیفائی ہو اور ماحول اچّھے ہونے کی وجہ سے میں AMU ۔ کے phd ۔فارم کا انتظار کر رہی تھی مجھے لگتا تھا کی لڑکیوں کے لئے سب سے اچھی یونیورسیٹی AMU ۔ہے جہاں لڑکیاں محفوظ رہتی ہے۔لیکن اب بہت فکر ہونے لگی ہے کی AMU ۔میں بھی ٹھیک نہیں ہے ۔۔۔😭

Internalship mil jata hai jisse 10-15 marks kam hone par(gen cutoff se) jnmc me admission ho jata hai. No, there is no coaching for neet or iit in amu .but there are many coachings in Aligarh .
