Now for purple osds I recommend using a Forcefield and then placing Spikes around the forcefield shield you don’t need any Spikes around osds not on Reds and not on purples unless your on Wave 50 or so maybe, you could also use a mek with a shield Module next to the forcefield wich will Reduce your dmg intake wich isnt neceserry but helpfull, you should always Wear a Full Hazard suit since it protects you from Fire dmg, carcas are the best for osds and veins so always use them, saddle quality doesn’t matter Prim saddles work just fine. This way me and my tribemate did 2 purples osds one of them to Wave 15 and one to Wave 11 we both used a carca with prim saddle and Tag teamed wyverns and enraged Rexes the loot was pretty shit on Both besides a cap theri bp and mek blueprints. We also Placed a tp and Generator so we could tp loot back to our base Between Waves and set up 2 beds, a chimney and a christmas tree so we could get santa loot. After all this yapping you get OPTIONAL: FORCEFIELD, SPIKES AROUND FORCEFIELD SHIELD, A CARCA, FULL HAZARD = ez purple osd. After you claim the osd and Place the forcefield it will take abt 3 minutes before it Powers up so just kill Most things until it’s Safe then Place Spikes, The Spikes and Forcefield will stop you getting Overrun so for the start of Wave just stay in forcefield kill wyverns and Everything that got inside of the Spikes wich are mostly reapers and rockdrakes, then go out of the Spikes and SLOWLY kill Everything outside if you get cornerd you are as good as dead so be carefull you can use the tail Spin but often it doesnt work. If you want to stop go to the osd after completing a Wave the osd will say hostiles incoming you can stop the osd and Claim loot but you are only able to stop purple ods After Wave 5 but you Are able to continue them infinitly. when you want to stop pick up the forcefield and Everything else u had placed close to the osd since ejecting loot will Break all close structures I know this is a lot but this should help you do your first purple, good luck.

@@Cainb23 yea you are 100% fine with those stats one is enough, i mean as an comparison the carcas i used had 29hp and 38dmg base but 78 points Leveled points into dmg aswell but you will Level up your carca like Crazy on osds, just use the tips I have in my original comment and your fine

For the purple drop place dino gates and spikes around the osd then have 2/4 decent dreadnoughts on aggressive on the osd and use the carcha to kill stuff quicker, and when the enraged rexes start coming fall back to the dreadnoughts so that they can whack em away whilst your attacking with the carch cause if you get stuck in a enraged rex your carch is pretty much dead cause they do alot of dmg especially if your using prim saddles, If you plan to get to higher waves like wave 15 to 30 you'd need to either heal with the owls/pig towards the end of the waves or bring extra dreadnoughts to swap em out when they get low, Had 2 other tribe mates on carchas tho so running it solo would definitely be more challenging but would still work

Good to see people slowly see that Charchas are now shine even more For purple osd you can use 2 charchas (only reason you need 2 cuz in some areas the dinos get stuck wayy too far) and spikes,tiny gates around the purple drop and thats good enough (not necessary to defend the top of it and use forcefield it will Glitch the dinos out and you need to search for em) at us we got 124 saddles with 460 melle charchas cloned with no imp so DO NOT attempt to do purple drop without good saddle cuz dino will get hurt a lot (personally an alpha and 2 drakes hurt me about 30/35% of my hp killing em solo) thats about it honestly We did 6h 30min defending it and finished it at wave 50 GL for you too doing em i seen some of your videos from ase where i watched you doing the basilisk on gen2 with pistol glitch ect. (Offi) At that time i managed to get red,white basilisk i was the original owner of that 👊

I used to do them on boss T rexes on official which were definitely strong but gigas and carchs have way more base damage. purples were way harder. red is harder than a big vein but not by a lot. I even used to do them with wyverns for fun.

Wyvern milk does not make you immune to fire, it just runs the effect as if it were a tek canteen

Yeah no, Hazard is the way, I been doing drops and veins and it does lower your health by like 10 to 12 points but the long fire damage doesnt hurt you so is the best way to be safe.

@V123_5 hazard and tek suit were the only way to be protected from the fire of fire wyverns. There's no misleading here. I play on official PVE, so I can't use "god mode" like other people do. With that said, recent patch note state that they have patched this so fire wyverns shouldn't damage riders anymore

Like @wilbertblacklabel3437 said is the tek binoculars, since we didn't have them on ASE we are not use to them but yeah they are amazing and you can lock into veins and drops.

I play on Official PVE, corrupted dont damage structure atleast not most of them, I did notice that enrage corrupted do damage spikes but dont do too much damage.
