Schedule your day. Like a timetable but on a weekly basis for example, Mondays eBay, Tuesdays food shop and charity shop, Wednesday free lance writing, Thursday blog, Friday shop for eBay, Saturday home, Sunday day off as an example. I found, after stopping going out to work, hours become shorter and we get less done. So I need structure to my week if not my day then I get more done and feel better for it. My fiend in Florida has just found the same thing so is trying to structure her week now too. Well done for freebie hair cut. Stay safe

It's a good idea. My trouble is that I don't always know when I am going to need to go to Mum's or when I will have the dog. He has separation anxiety, so it does hamper my ability to get out and about. However, I could still attempt a timetable! I did it when I first left work and was more productive, for sure.

I try do this as much as possible I work nightshift every thurs and Friday but on my days off I spent most of my days listing stuff I now do all my listings on a Monday. School holidays just now so not as routined as usual

Lovely hall Jane and an amazing free haircut . My friend was on holiday and popped into the Lego shop with her kids, the sales assistant gave her all the ex display Lego for free as he said it gets binned! All about being in the right place at the right time . I also thought you looked amazing in the black vinted jacket was so flattering on you x

I laughed when you said things went out through the window in the same way they came in. We’ve gotten things upstairs by removing the window at the top so they can poke out while turning the corner, and once removing the handrails to let the delivery men get a chest of drawers upstairs. After they finished they advised, “Never move.”🚛 😂

I was away with my son a couple of weeks ago.... and the subject of death cleaning came up... he decided what he would like to keep and I have been freecycling so much stuff this last couple of weeks.

I completely agree with you Jane. It’s frightening to think that we are at the mercy of technology. It’s all very good when it’s working, but the world seems to come to a standstill when there’s a problem with it. Technology has its place and I’m all for it, but we as a society and a world have become to reliant on it! Love your hair cut by the way!

I think ebay sales have suffered because of Temu and Shein. Their clothes are dirt cheap and poor quality

I still prefer good quality thrifted clothing, mixed with modern pieces so i still look up to date

I’m the same way, i’m on the go all the time and it seems like we’re always forgetting this item or that item and having to run errands more often than not etc… then it eats up my day and i’m always feeling “rushed”. I’m self-employed too and my sales have dropped a lot in the last while. People are on tighter budgets and feeling the pinch of inflation to be sure. As for cash, we live on a cash budget, so we always have cash on hand. I will use cash forever…
