I just came across this episode today. I’m on week 2 of no alcohol. Today also marks 2 months of my twin sister passing from liver failure ( cirrhosis of the liver) due to alcohol abuse. I want to live the life God is calling me to live. I’ll keep going for the 90 days for the #soberlife challenge. God bless you two!!! 💙🙏🏾

I discovered your channel a few days ago and I have been LOVING your content!! If I may make a suggestion..Ken, can you please allow Mrs. Tab to finish her thought!? She's always interrupted in the middle of answering your questions. It's a bit frustrating as a viewer because she seems to have a ton of Godly wisdom to share! And we the people want to hear it! 🙏🏼❤

Unfortunately, this doesn't change. I've been following for a while now. I think it has something to do with leadership & submission... and his personality as a man. I think Tabatha & Ken described behaviors like this "a man just being a man." 😂😂

Love love love this topic! Thank you both so much for sharing! One humble comment, I love hearing Tabatha speak but sometimes it's cut off short or interrupted during her thought process while she's still speaking. would love to hear her fully finish her thought and I love the both mindsets you both have shared, it's helped me understand so much. Blessings to you both 🙏

I drank heavily for years and started coming to Alive Christmas eve. New years eve service pastor Ken said "If you need to drink to be yourself, you don't know who you truly are." and that has stuck with me ever since. a couple weeks later i took the 6 month challenge and have been sober since. I thank God for my pastors and my church home all the time for changing my life! I LOVE Yall❤

I had to come back to this video and share my testimony. I'm officially 90+ days free of alcohol🎉💃☺️ watching this video back in Jan this year really inspired me to do the 90 day challenge. It was difficult at times but I'm so glad I persevered and will continue to persevere with the help of the Holy Spirit. It's nice to live a sober life😊

❤Thanks for the podcast....and for sharing just how far the Lord has bought you from ....I started drinking really young, but my personal convictions when I received the Holy Spirit caused me to stop drinking over 16yrs ago.. I agree that not drinking doesn't hurt anyone...and. I understand grace and Christian liberties. "Drinking is permissible, but it isn't wise."🙏🏾

I don't remember when I initially watched this video (about 3-4 weeks ago). But last week while praying, the Lord put it on my heart to dump out the rest of my alcohol! It is Gone, and I am FREE!!! Thank you Ken and Tabitha!!!! I'm gonna start putting date stamps on these vids so I can come back later with my Testimonies :)

Love this message! I drink merrily. It's my way of unwinding after a long week or sometimes a hard day; & how I socialize with my bestie. I pray for those who struggle with alcohol. I have a cocktail while getting a medi/pedi sometimes. I do have family members with addictative behaviors on both sides- thank God, I don't. Likewise, singing skipped me, too😂 As a leader, you're right, you may need to abstain from it as a spiritual leader. Likewise, sadly, you may need to stay off the dance floor & other social activities, too, bc you're a spiritual leader. That's your calling. Praise God, my husband & I can do it freely & without the burden of judgment & addiction, in the name of Jesus! Thank you!!! Thank you!! (In my Mr. Brown voice😂)

Ty for the podcast I choose not to drink bcuz I have tasted of God's goodness in my life and He is sufficient! His goodness causes me to be content and makes me not want to drink. Although in my past I have and I also have friends that have had issues with drinking and have now stopped. I would never want to be a stumbling block and cause them to falter. I want to try and live by example.

I think it’s important to stop getting drunk or even tipsy. There for I believe hard alcohol isn’t the move. I knowingly stopped drinking hard liquor and just was having a glass of wine here and there. I then months later had hard liquor and it made me feel sick 🤢 and my body was all a mess. So now I only sip wine here and there never to get intoxicated just to have with dinner etc …the key is moderation.

The only reason I feel Jesus was not speaking of Him drinking actual fermeted wine and being drunk on wine as we know it is because I used to be an alcoholic and Holy Spirit delivered me privately in my house from demons, some time after that I experienced being drunk on spiritual wine, I literally felt drunk like I would get tipsy when I used to drink, i couldnt walk or talk properly I felt like I was floating but it was Holy Spirit and I started to understand why in Acts it says the desciples people thought they were drunk but not wine as we think. I believe the wine the bible says we as believers should drink is the wine of the Spirit and the feeling is almost exactly the same but more pure and Holy and if you touch people while being that drunk on Gods Spirit they also get healed and it overflows. I just say this because I feel I had a pesonal revelation of being completely drunk on the Holy Spirit and suddelny I understood when Jesus turned water into wine, He is the new wine and He almost infused the water with His Spirit.

Women are not to preach in authority over man- because the order of creation 1Timothy 2:11-12; 13-14. Deborah was mot a pastor- she was a judge and a prophetess God used her in leadership in that function of ministry... leadership and authority are not the same. Mary Magdalene told the 12 deciples Jesus had resurrected. She spread the truth to His 12 deciples- their ministry was to spread the gospel as we all are commisioned too. In fact, as I write this comment, the Holy spirit dropped in my spirit that Jesus telling her to deliver the message of His resuurection was an act of Him commissioning women into ministry. Phobe, and those women who labored beside Paul were servants- their ministry was overseered by Paul, Paul was in authority over the church. You sir, Ken speak with Biblical authority, you administer wisdom to your wife through scripture. You doing so brings understanding- and you fufill your role as commanded by God- your telling her not to eat the fruit at each step of you administering scripture. Tabatha is your wife, and you are her husbsnd, but the authority in the church is yours and yours alone- you both are in error, and she is out of order calling herself a pastor- women dont govern Gods word in authority over men.

The fake news of someone who cuts another off is a spirit of pride, judgement and control. Pride= that what the person saying isn’t that important or worthy or being interrupted, controlling= trying to pipeline the narrative and shape how the story/experiences is shared, judgement= making a judgment call that what a person saying ain’t important enough to allow them to continue. Take note

Love y’all’s perspective on this. I can relate so much to where you both are coming from. I don’t drink because of many reasons you both listed. Also, my parents always said, “What you do in moderation, your children will do in excess.” I had never heard of this from a ministry standpoint, but it makes so much sense that as leaders, this principle also applies to those we are leading. God bless you both. Please continue to share your wisdom . The body of Christ is greatly edified with what you are doing! ❤
