I did this today and also the mass airflow sensor on my 2001 W203. I believe it was never done since 2001! Lots and lots cleaned up! It was quite dirty Next step, go for a drive. Thanks for super videos, I subscribed a few years ago 👍

@@doit_vehicles Now i had a new problem on display i get a message Electonic Stability Program ESP VISIT WORKSHOP and in the same time car BRAKES by itself foe 1-2 secconds!?!?!?! Actually i dont care for ESP but why car must BRAKES by itself??? Tonight he blocks the weels for 2 seconds and the i get message Electonic Stability Program ESP VISIT WORKSHOP????!!!! Do you know for this problem??????????

Try to turn thr stearing wheel all the way right and all the way left , it usually reset the ESP . If not it might be related to wheel speed sensors , battery/ alternator issue . Try to see what trouble codes the computer gives .

@@doit_vehicles I found the problem... it is this peace of shit found in the trunk! shop.euroimpex.lt/en/dalis/213924/esp-accelerator-sensor-(esp-control-unit) I just unplug the cable a the ESP is turned off! And whn i turn on the car its immediately show the message ESP VISIT WORKSHOP and he doesent brakes wheels any more! The point is i dont want spend the money for this peace of crap..... BTW thanks for the answer :):):)

Great video!! I did this but it didn’t solve my problem. I have a C230, when I stop at red lights it stalls. Seems like it does this when it’s hot. As long as I keep my foot on the peddle, and focus the rpm above 1000 the car runs fine. No codes. Any ideas on what to do next?

Hei ! Try to collect more data on Oxygen sensors , MAP sensor , LTFT and so on ... It sounds like a fuel delivery issue , but I can't really tell for sure without doing some tests .

How does the electrical connector come off? Do you pinch it from the front, the rear? I can't get mine to budge.

I use something like a tiny screwdriver to take off those two snaps from theyr pin . careful not to brake them . The best is to use tweezers to keep both snaps off ; also use some WD 40 if needed .

wd - 40 contains lubricants ( oils ) , if that throttle valve will get oil on , than the dust and other particles will stick on the throttle body over time . The " special " cleaner is dry and evaporates after cleaning so therfore it will stay clean for longer .. so , personally I won't use wd - 40 , brake cleaner or other stuff on a throttle body :)

Hello ! I think the 408 227 111 001 might be a newer aftermarket part of the "002" model so it should fit . also it looks like it's a mechanical activated flap so less need of "acceptance " from the ECU . To be 100 % sure check for any differences betwen those 2 or if you are lucky you might get an official answer from a MB dealership ...
