Hey, it worked! My Schok phone went black, wouldn't start, plugged the power cord in, red light, but still wouldn't start. I pressed the power and volume buttons together as you described, it started up, and was working. You saved me the hassle of shipping the old one back for a replacement, and of course there's the satisfaction of fixing something that's broken and watching it work again.

Thank you so much! When I plugged it in it would not charge and it would turn off and on even though the light is on. I held power and volume up and then the other trick and I just clicked on the restart option and it turned on and started charging!

So I'm stuck again. Went through several updates but still can't get into phone. I've viewed several videos that claim codes work but I'll have to revisit all this down the road.

I tried it but doesn't work. I can only get the schok logo screen or a black screen as if turned off. When I am supposed to turn the phone altogether off I don't get the power off or restart. It seems like it is stuck on, because if I let it sit it becomes discharged, but if I plug it in it seems to be charging. The light in the corner is red then green like it is fully charged. In using the volume up and down buttons only a short menu in red and white comes up. Start button is at the top and is green. Other choices like restart bootleg and recovery mode are red. There is a power off choice in white, but when selecting it and the hit the power button nothing seems to do anything. Anything else to try?

Hey hold power ad volume down til shuts off and soon as it comes back on while still holding power and volume down quick it volume up, the go to recovery mode click. It'll light up logo screen wait a few seconds it'll go to no command once there hold power button and quick click volume up it'll take u to factory reset option. Hope this helps
