Why chrome? There are a bunch of choices for your browser and chrome is already the target of a ton of hacking attention. It seems to me like selling chrome reduces the number of browsers run by corporations who spend a lot of time fending off cyber criminals.

I don't use search engines anymore. I just search for things on social media apps and AI apps now. Search engine results are pretty bad.

Sounds stupid - forcing a private company to just sell off a product it has built up for years. Everybody gets to use what they want. No one's forcing anyone into using anything they don't want to. On the other hand, maybe I'm not privy to arguments made in court / evidence presented. I still think forcing a private company to sell is tantamount to bullying. Also, just think of who can wind up getting Google Chrome - you won't necessarily like it. Just look at the mess with TikTok - a REAL privacy nightmare by a foreign actor!

Google created chrome and android they can create another web browser and use all the mistakes they made with to build a better web browser same gos with android in matter of fact they have a micro kernel already that will work on phones and tablets and other products it won’t stop them without google I think chrome gos under and whatever they use to replace chrome will take over
