Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. While I still don't consider this her "masterpiece", I still feel like she had to create a "transitional album" to see where this project takes her. Regardless, I enjoyed listening and discovering this new side of her and very much appreciate her finding new ways to be more authentic while attempting to strike a commercial balance. For some reason, I had a feeling that she wasn't all that happy with planet her long before she started to complain and snapping at her fans, at which point, she looked like a sanitized avatar.
