I think Doja is far from "going through it". I think she is finally becoming an artist that she can be proud of. She is purposely alienating the fanbase that want nothing but pop music from her. She's tired of having to get on stage and do tiktok dances for crowds of teenagers. She's done with pop and ready to make some real music. Don't get me wrong, I love her old albums, but the pop music industry exists to make a profit. It's not about the music at all.

She's just trolling people. She said she wants people to think out of the stereotypes, like just because she shaved her head doesn't mean she's going thru something when in fact, she just wanted to shave her head because she feels like it, not for the reason that she's going thru something. She wants people to leave the kind of mindset that just because people do what society think is weird does not mean they're going thru something, because for her it means getting out of the limitations of art or getting out of the common artistry that most artists are doing right now. ❤
