Love you work! There are versions of these spray can attachment guns with a bigger trigger that fits 3-4 fingers like an actual spray gun that connects to a compressor, that way less strain falls on your index finger and as a result less pain. The attachment you have here has a small trigger that only fits one finger like a real gun so theres so much pressure and strain on your index finger, anyhow keep up the great work ;)

@jasonvoorhees51634 жыл бұрын
Its actually simple why you felt pain while painting with the gun. Its really because your hand has gotten used to holding the can manually with your finger on the cap. Basically, your hand got used to that position holding the can, and you switched positions that your hand isn't used to. Its similar to working out. You get used to a single work out style, but when you changs that style, its uncomfortable and you have to get used to that style of work out.

Doke what it was is youre working new muscles in your hand that you werent using when you normally hold the cabs

You ought to make a second channel... called “Doke in Detail”... Or, “Too Doke”... And just post all of your extra/unused footage... like, for example, you said you usually don’t add the footage of you doing the detail work... well, you could add that to the 2nd channel. Or, just anything else... bloopers, interactions with people, etc... Maybe come up with some merchandise to sell, too... Since, you’re an artist... it would be easy for you to come up with a design for shirts, phone cases, etc. and possibly even do custom designs for people if they want it (for a higher price, obviously)... Maybe, a shirt that says “Doke AF” (like, Dope AF, but, with your name instead. Lmao) Anyways... Love the content, mane... Keep up the good work!!!

JOSHUA RICKS compressing the can (crushing it in some way) to increase pressure. if you're running out of propellant, this might make what you have left work a bit better. pushing the dip tube further toward the bottom of the can, potentially giving you access to more paint. although just holding the can at an angle will generally accomplish the same thing (assuming you're angling toward where the dip tube is).

I have one of those (for some reason, I'm not a painter); it's really a rather simple design. I am convinced that there is plenty of room for improvement. I think you could make a game-changer tool with some effort. The market is probably very small, so it would likely have to be an enthusiast project.

The different orientation of your hand and wrist might make it use different muscles than you're used to. But probably it's just because the weight is now further from your hand, making it feel heavier, especially when moving back and forth quickly.

Tendons and Muscle structures on your hand are extremely complex, and you already have lots of training on the muscles and tendons necessary to paint normally, as for the muscke groups necessary to paint with the gun, they are comparatively less trained. It would probably be better overall after however much months of training you needed to get your hand and wrist used to it. Its like archery: you need to train a very specific set of muscles and tendons, and the gun seems like the most ergonomic option to prevent high stress on the area.
