Well, this Monika and Epiphany Monika are two different people. So it could be Epiphany Monika pulling the strings, whereas this Monika is giving herself a second chance and trying to save her friends from her past self.

Man, Monika somehow went back into the game to try and fix everything. But What it seems here is her friends are corrupted files I believe, and Monika is trying to recover them and save them, Their are two endings here. One is the Good Ending, which Monika recovered the girls files, and the Bad Ending, is the ending where Monika, couldn't save them, and is trapped in the game with the girls to suffer. But by any means, Nice Cover Yuri!😊💜

NOT HATING PLEASE DONT TAKE THIS COMMENT AS THAT: I personally don’t agree with Natsuki taking the place of Knuckles. Natsuki shoulda taken eggmans place and Yuri as Knuckles and heres why. Yuri didn’t necessarily like Monika after the save of Sayori dying. Even going as far as to being an asshole to her and everyone but MC. Like knuckles, she became a hot head Eggman in Sonic.exe practically “held the knowledge” from what I remember being told, even then, he was still a rival of sorts. Obviously this doesn’t apply to Natsuki the same but Natsuki still knew things was off. Natsuki legit went to MC and was like “hey, shits wrong. usually im pissy but i still care” and got killed for it. She literally held the knowledge then. She may have not known WHAT was wrong but she knew SOMETHING was wrong. Sayori works perfect though because she was just a blind follower to monika and while monika later was cruel to her she was still a follower much like tails was to sonic. However its awesome nevertheless and effort looks like it was definitely poured into this. The cover is absolutely AMAZING and the transitions were a clever idea!! Good job to those involved!!
