Even using the logic of future Bosses will hit harder, it doesn't apply right now so it's unfair to categorize Ui like that Tl;Dr: Ui Goku defensive mechanics aren't meant strictly for normals but rather so UI Goku isn't a Dodge or Die to Supers unit but rather a Dodge or take serious damage to Super character 7:11 & 24:17 Judging by how much UI took pre super & post Super Ui gets a decent amount of defense Post Super Evo Vegeta hits a decent amount harder than Evoken but yet the Damage Ui took from Vegeta is less than Evoken This is may even be more significant because Ui Goku had his full Dmg reduction in this first clip oppose to the 2nd one where he essentially only had 15% so The amount Ui gets on 1 Super surpasses the difference between Evoken & Evolution Blue Vegeta Once Ui was hit first he lost his Dmg reduction in exchange for guard but in this case he was already Type advantage so guard didn't help much but he still ate 800k which is death but Evo Vegeta is one the hardest hitting Bosses in the game so Ui only taking 800k means most Bosses will do 400k-600k to UI Goku(post guard) & probably if I were to guess an additional 50k more pre guard This is all with 1 Super & double 170%, multiple Supers & double 200% would change these numbers I'd personally not consider that good tanking but I would consider that decent tanking
