Maybe its just me but I genuinely love how they designed this character. Even with an Over in a Flash linking partner, he always struggled to do 18ki supers. And now they make using the 12ki supers that you're likely going to get most of the time buff his 18ki super which gets easier to reach due to giving himself ki every time he does a super attack. Its refreshing to not have a yet another ki hungry that needs 20+ ki to do perform half of their kit.

2024 starts off strong with a great EZA to one of my personal all-time favorite units, and my most anticipated EZA since the Blue Fusions had gotten theirs, LR TEQ Dragon Fist SSJ3 Goku. People have told me to not be as stoked for his EZA, due to the glooming idea that Dokkan could easily fumble the unit, and I'm happy to say that the optimism shined through. I'll admit, I got a few things wrong with this unit on first glance, such as his defense being a bit on the lower end, at around a 220k Defensive Stat. However, the purpose of this unit is to be a finisher that slowly builds up to a devastating Dragon Fist after his first two appearances. This Goku doesn't need to build up defense in any way, and his 50% Damage Reduction is vital to his survival against AoE's from INT Fusion Zamasu, and INT Omega Shenron, both of which would do around 190k damage to Dragon Fist SSJ3 Goku. (500k (AoE) x 1.5 (Type Disadvantage) x 1.1 (Super vs. Extreme) = 825,000 x 0.5 (50% Damage Reduction) = 412,500 (DMG to Goku) - 220,000 (SoT DEF) = ~190k Damage.) The AoE's only do THIS much damage because Zamasu and Omega are INT, and remember that this is without externalities such as support. Post-12 Ki Super Attack, this Goku should have around 630k defense on average (220k (SoT DEF) x 2.2 (Passive SA DEF) x 1.3 (SA Effect) = ~630k DEF), which makes him a powerhouse against many of the toughest Boss Super Attacks, such as him tanking STR Goku Black's SA, one of the hardest hitting attacks Turn One, for only around 220k damage! (1,540,000 x 1.1 (Super vs. Extreme) = 1,694,000 x 0.5 (50% DR) = 847,000 - 630,000 = ~220k damage) Of course, this unit reminisces in the 2018 feeling of nuking your enemies, and this Goku can DEFINITELY DO A LOTTA DAMAGE! Perhaps not out of the gate with a meager 5 million ATK stat for the 12 Ki Super, but certainly by the time you reach Turn 6 or his third appearance, his 18 Ki Ultra Super Attack is easily accessible with an astounding 26 MILLION ATTACK STAT (without support), with a guaranteed crit by Turn 6, and can likely blow through four health bars of the final phases from EVEN the Dismal Future Red Zone. In content to come from the next celebrations, especially recently during the Movie Redzone 2 Releases and the highly-anticipated 9th Anniversary, small things such as tanking pre-Super, avoiding as much pressure as you can, support, and even just Boss Typings differing, are all aspects of a unit that can save them from death. Thankfully, this Goku was given enough care in his kit to survive the AoE's, destroy enemy actions, WHICH IS BUSTED, and due to the lack of Start of Turn stats (59% ATK & 200% DEF collectively), any support is a GINORMOUS BUFF to this SSJ3 Goku's stats (As seen with Goku's 23 Million ATK Stat on Turn 8 at 8:31... MIRACULOUSLY jumping to a 45 Million ATK Stat with INT SSJ3 Bardock's 50% ATK Support on Turn 10 at 9:25). I personally do think this is the best LR EZA as of yet! His design from Greatly Raising ATK stacks with the 12 Ki at the beginning, having sturdy defense to deal against nearly all bosses, to dealing a triumphant Dragon Fist in the range tens of millions of attack, this is a 10/10 release for a character that we've waited over 6 years for!

Normal super he still keeps it. Ultra super he loses it at the cost of a massive attack.
