George was about 31 when did the original. Pretty much the mature approach without over-shredding and making obnoxious meaningless compositions. He is in my top 20 guitarists of for sure.

This is actually *better* than how Lynch usually plays it. I've seen him do this song live a few times and he always improvises and it's not nearly as sophisticated as this.

You are an exceptional player with a superb ear. As I've always said, if you don't have ears, you may as well hang up the old ax. Well, you've got golden ears and metal gears. Keep on shredding, Mr. Scary.

I got into Lynch like 2 years prior to this video, so I guess 2 years of practicing this. But I've been playing for 13 years now (10 years in the video) so I kinda had some years of experience before.

Awesome solo with the George inflections intact! How’d you do the high pitch trick at 1:20 with your hand btw? Thanks!
@mrscarytv83186 жыл бұрын
Thanks for you kind words man! You actually kinda scratch / pick the note with the side of your pick. Watch this video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gIrIfKOmbL-hetk Just use the technique on one string and one one fret/note. George often used this trick in the 80s and I thinkn also in the Wicked Sensation solo at the very last note :)

Very nice but how about play it without the song playing in the background? All I hear is George's guitar. Kinda deceptive this way. Just my .02
@mrscarytv83183 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot, this video is quite old, then everybody covered songs like this so I did it too😄 but I've been hearing through it on my computer again and my guitar is definitely a bit louder than George's here, you can hear it because the mistakes I made are pretty obvious to hear haha, thanks a lot for your feedback 🙏
