All the lighting is LED, so not many watts there. I have the projector, receiver, Blu-ray players and Firestick all plugged into a dedicated 20A line (plenty of power on tape) There's 4 amplifiers plugged into 2 dedicated 20A lines. The XPA5 could potentially draw over 1500w on its own and the Behringer is putting out 1100x2. + you have the other 2 amps. You never know what the future brings and Audioholics preaches about having enough power on hand. It only cost me 3 extra breakers and maybe 100' of line. Money well spent.
@jeremybentham044 жыл бұрын
@@Rawsawhd He's saying that if you use smart bulbs (like Hue or LIFX), you won't have to worry about your front lights washing out your screen. You can adjust the color, intensity, and/or color temp of each bulb or group of bulbs individually without running a new romex for separate front lights.

I had my first 1080p Optima I bought back around 2012 and had no issues with it (fan was a bit loud). So far no issues with this one either. This was bought to get the theater up and running with the intent to upgrade in the future.... My plan is to step up to a top Epson or if funds allow a JVC.

Compromises were made (and mistakes) from the start just to get everything up and running. I made the purchase for the screen material/supplies before having the lights in and until it was all set up I didnt know it would be an issue. That being said, I plan on getting a new screen semi soon. The lights may be getting changed out as well to something I can control through voice.

Its a work in progress with many upgrades coming. I spent about $10k on the room between framing, wiring, insulation, steetrock, etc.. Then there's the equipment (which spans from the 90's to today) which is over $10k. Then furnishing and décor..

@Rawsawhd4 жыл бұрын
Typically in a 7.2.4 Atmos setup, from what I've read, you want the surrounds at or as close to ear level as possible (which they are). So I thought they were low myself but what a difference over my last system with bipoles at 5'.

@@MrBigjack71 That wall is a little longer then the parallel rear wall because it extends to the entrance so maybe 16-17', but excluding that the room is 14'W by 26'D (2' of that is behind the screen) by 8'H
@jpsnsn75484 жыл бұрын
You couldn't be more wrong kon john. Those side surrounds are exactly where they should be because he has Atmos speakers in the ceiling. If you put those side surrounds any higher it would ruin the Atmos experience.
