Yes. THX trailers are still played at certain cinemas in America. The Regency Village (built 1931) in Los Angeles was a early THX certified cinema. They played the most recent trailer entitled Genesis. I saw it in front of Star Wars episode 9.

this is the best thing ever! I wonder why not all bluray movies have this when they contain atmos sound. Lionsgate seem to be the only ones including the trailer before their movies. La La Land, Mockingjay, Blairwitch, and Divergent to name a few. I wish all movies with atmos had this trailer or some of the other ones.

Saw this when I saw Sonic the Hedgehog in UltraScreen DLX at Marcus Cinemas. Was SUPER LOUD! EDIT: I think its louder in a SuperScreen DLX at my Marcus Cinemas(in Pickerington Ohio). Was waiting for Call of the Wild to start seating and waited on a bench next to a Onward Advanced screening, and it was so loud it shook the floor OUTSIDE THE THEATER THROUGH CLOSED DOORS! EDIT 2: Saw this before Sonic the Hedgehog 2 in UltraScreen DLX. Atmos was mixed PERFECTLY for it! EDIT 3: Just saw this before The Super Mario Bros. Movie. For some reason, a lot of the surround sound was missing. Not sure if it was Marcus Cinemas' speakers having an issue or a different variation of this promo(it was the Unfold promo).
