There are so many of those "analog horror" videos out nowadays that watching a normal old school informational video makes me expect something scary to happen.

there are a lot of videos about AM Radio antenna, watching an old video about cooking in outdoor barbacoa time makes me think something will happen. *a no sense and very fool comment as yours* do you think people will admire and consider your life as important with that kind of "participation" ? get a life. grow reading Og Mandino

Still you need pro-logic to play all your stereo mostly musics from mobile-phone laptop or cd to play them in surround sound.
@chuckmaddison2924 Жыл бұрын
@GauravSingh-px8rh The other thing is I believe most walk-in cinemas are 5.1 And the one drive-in we still have plays in stereo from car system. I think the mono window speakers went years ago. They actually do good business, probably the nostalgia thing. Back in 70's it was almost 1 drive- In every 10 kilometres.

@@GauravSingh-px8rh Got redone multiple times. First was Dolby Surround, then Pro Logic, then Pro Logic II in the early 2000's then Pro Logic IIx for 7.1, then Pro Logic IIz for height, and now Dolby Surround (again) for Atmos setups.

I have seen so many movies in old Dolby theater in the old building. My late husband worked there as a sound engineer before he moved to Brisbane which was closed in 2011 or 12, don't remember exactly. My most memorable was Paganini since Klaus Kinski brought it there and Trilogy of Lords of the Ring. We also stayed in Wiltshire when he was helping with setup of computers in Wooten Basset when Dolby moved there from London in 1992

Dolby HX Pro is (imo) underrated. When I listen to prerecorded content mastered with HX Pro I'm usually very happy or even blown away.
@Moonwalker9173 жыл бұрын
I'm definitely not an audiophile but I've recently restored a consumer market Pioneer tape deck with HX Pro and it's truly amazing what it does with cheap ferro/type-1 tapes. Of course you notice a slight difference with the source material: some minor background noise at full volume and a slight cut of higher frequencies but still, the result is nothing short of astonishing.

My receiver with Dolby Surround Pro Logic IIx Movie +THX is the most convincing matrixed 7.1 surround I've ever heard
@daltex814 жыл бұрын
If you think that's good then you should try listening your same sources with the new Dolby Surround Upmixer. The Dolby Surround Upmixer is so much better than all of the Pro Logic, Pro Logic II and Pro logic IIx decoders. The new Dolby Surround Upmixer is the replacement of the old Pro Logic decoders. You still can have 7.1 but you add top speakers that are used for the Dolby Atmos Surround and dts X Surround.

Man I hated Dolby NR sucked out all the shine and brightness out of a song. Never used it. I rather hear some noise than lose the shimmer of cymbals or the air in a vocal performance
@stereobrian81135 ай бұрын
Then you have used it incorrectly or equipment was faulty. There must be no difference in sound regardless any NR is used in the right way. Unfortunately, in reality it happened rarely that everything was ok.
