Oh I am right there with you 1000% I sprayed this in store and imminently went to ebay to purchase! I save sometimes up to $100.00 when buying from ebay, so that's a tip in case anyone didn't know.

It can be the case but you can’t always guarantee you’re buying a legit product off of eBay.

I tried it and wanted to like it but I think on my skin it comes off a bit too smoky while drying down and too potent like lemon pound cake BUT with a strong smoky campfire smell that turned me off. It was like those candles from bath and body works on my skin. Unfortunately I wanted to like it because of the lemon cake part but on my skin made me nauseous to my stomach it was too much. 😢Maybe I should try it a 2nd time to see. I did get a compliment tho.

Yes, it’s very heavy on the lemony pound cake 🍰 but I’d only use it in cold weather or a cooler night as it rounds out to be a cozy gourmand. I know exactly what you’re referring to regarding the campfire marshmallow fragrances and though I don’t get it from this fragrance, it reminds me of A Whiff of Wafflecone which smells JUST like your describing. It smells much better as a candle, rather than something I’d want on my skin all day. Buuuuut I think you should give Devotion another try another day. I’ve had fragrances that I loved in the store, bought it, got home like “meh”😒 then tried them again at a later date like 😍😍😍 so maybe a little time away will help.☺️

Florida weather is very hot n humid so maybe that also might affect the way this fragrance warms up on my skin. ☀️😁 And you’re right, one day it might be a meh” the next it could be a “Love” 💕Funny how our tastes and smells can sometimes change 🤷‍♀️

I had a really bad allergic reaction to Burberry goddess (rash) 😢 which was a shame as it’s lovely ❤ Devotion is so delicious and I can wear it on my skin with no issues ❤ I’m totally addicted 😊to it
