I bought EDP a couple weeks ago and I thought it was a fake. The batch number was different and the bottle and package said “Made in Italy” and I couldn’t find anything on the internet that was the same as they all say “Made in France” I contacted Dolce and Gabbana directly and this is what they told me.” “We are glad to inform you that until last year our perfumes were produced in France in partnership with Shiseido while our fragrances are now Made in Italy directly by us Dolce&Gabbana. Thought this was a cool piece of information.

@@Boristien405 I’ve only got to test the OG a long time ago but never actually got to own it. Idk if it’s the batch or just how my skin works but I don’t have any longevity issues at all. I over sprayed listening to all these people saying you need to wear a lot and I regretted it 😂

The One EDT was not thought out as projection beast, rather as a date nights/ inviting fragrance. It serves its purpose well, it brings compliments and it’s great to create a romantic atmosphere. You wouldn’t wear a projection beast to a date, would you? I think the constant criticism to The One is a bit unfair. It’s not meant to be another Sauvage. Great review Ash!

@@Alritealritealrite that I recall , the EDP smells exactly the same but it’s long lasting and projects a bit more than the EDT. I think your best bet would be sampling it at the store 😁

I would say my top 3 from the line are the EDP, Luminous Night, and Grey. Honestly the one I wear the most is Grey. I know a lot of people hate on it but I think it's a great casual, easy wear, and office fragrance.

I think there is nothing to hate about Grey. It was my 1st one from the line, because I found a 100ml bottle for 20$. It smells nice, but not groundbreaking. The other bottle I have is Luminous Night which I paid full retail for, no regrets.

Bought a 5oz The One EDP on Black Friday. Great scent, but so weak, literally need 25 sprays to have any effect. Probably won't rebuy. Jet Black Enigma is better.

I'd recommend spraying on Molecule 02, letting it dry down for around a minute, then spraying The One EDP on top.

Hey Ash! Again, thanks for the excellent content! I love EDP, Royal and Luminous Night. I like Royal for a daytime scent that really performs, while EDP and Luminous Night are my date night and evening scents. In order of preference: Luminous, Royal and EDP. Up next is Grey! Bought The One EDT a month ago, it was unplanned and an impulsive buy, the second i smelled it i fell in love with it. Seduction in a bottle. Unfortunately i found out later that its an extremely weak fragrance and i now regret buying it.

Honestly, everyone that says it lasts 30min is exaggerating… wear it in your pulse points, it lasts a few hours, and you should wear it for yourself, not for anyone else to give you compliments.

@@guayaquilindependiente8763 You wear fragrance on inside of clothes,not on your skin,why?Mixes with body fluids plus they are chemicals,not healthy at all.On clothes lasts longer,doesn't mix with body sweat etc.Your nose adjusts to fragrance in 30min,reason you can't feel it.Proper sample test must be done to know longevity.

I always found more of a similarity to Layton with luminous night when I sprayed them side by side and I have layered them before and they mixed very well together also very loud

Tbh I've smelled both the edt and edp a whole bunch and I still prefer the edt. To me it's more versatile and I think it's a slightly better scent profile. I could care less about longevity, at least to an extent. If I'm going on a date I don't need a frag to last 10 hours lol

Absolutely spot on with this video, but I would add Royal Night to it. The EDP is amazing and layers with Royal Night helps it last a little (with more sweetness), and Luminous Night stands out and just smells/feels exotic on it's own.

I own 4 of them. My favourite is the Intense. The One EDP and EDT are okay, but performance is not that great. The One Grey is a decent office scent. I've tried The One Gold as well, but found that very weak.

Replica Jazz Club, The one EDP, and my sacred bottles of Mugler Pure Malt/Pure Havanne are my favourites. I dig those scents a lot, I use my Mugler bottles so sparingly one of the biggest discontinued frags I am upset about.

Layering The One Eau De Parfum Intense with Lataffa Bade'e Al Oud "Honor And Glory".. They really compliment each other and prolonge The One Intense quite a lot.. My favotite layering scent so far

Luminous Night smells like a fresher spicier take of One Million Elixir without the vanilla and with the dry down of Side Effect. Side Effect is what most closely resembles the scent.

I hope you got Edition Blanche, it doesn’t have the best performance, but the perfume is honestly fantastic. It’s unique and easy to use. Will people smell you 3m away? No, but you wear it for yourself, and if someone else catches whiffs of it and compliments you, that’s just a bonus. Definitely recommend Edition Blanche, my dad used to get the EDT when it first came out, and I used to steal it, now I buy my own, and it really is one of those masterpiece perfumes.

Most of this whole line is legendary ...nothing is coming close from Dolce and Gabbana..and if you remember the old EDP and the strength..then try to get the Royal Nights Dubai exclusive..stronger than the old edp formulation and the addition of Oud almost reacts like how ambroxan acts with freshies ..it just pushes the best of the DNA and it lasts like a niche..it's fantastic..the whole Dubai collection is top tier

I have found they have the best selection of all the discounters and almost always lowest prices. So I get samples from other places, but buy bottles from them. The sport one is more than understandable. It’s called sport for a reason. Probably in hot weather it will work better, but in cold weather is a big no no

The release of Grey made me absolutely disappointed. The hype behind it on the day of release was something I regret. It isn’t a bad scent, but for the price I paid, the longevity did not hold up. Royal Night is definitely my fave though, I like Luminous and Mysterious but Royal takes the crown

The One eau de parfum doesn't project enough to be cloying for evening wear. (In my opinion) You'll find use for it. Amount you spray will be a determining factor, as usual. Another to try is Versace Erros Flame. Cool weather to moderate, projects, performs, and is really nice. Great all around scent. For the heat, Versace pour home. Liltingly nice. All just my opinion though.

Hi, this is more of a question. I recently bought D&G the one mysterious nights from all Beauty. I had bought perfumes from them previously. Dint have any issue. This time upon spraying I don't smell the perfume at all. I get a burst of alcohol. Notes totally off the chart and doesn't stick to my skin more than 5 mins. Will allowing to rest on the shelf help in anyway ?
