I guess you'd have to be Italian, which I am, to understand what you mean by God Given Talent and Beauty. This collection is an homage to everything that makes Italy fabulous. Not everyone can be as wonderful as the Italians. It's called "sprezzatura" ...a certain nonchalance, so as to conceal all art and make whatever one does or says appear to be without effort and almost without any thought about it. Even though D&G knew exactly what they were doing and worked very hard to bring this collection to us.

I am a seamstress and get inspired by these designs..designers always over the top ..I might take a scarf in this case and incorporate it with a plain beautiful linen fabric and make a beautiful dress or blouse , look at the back design of the dresses .. Loved it! I wanna make some points: - The stamps, colors, makeup (loved the glossy lips) and jewelry were magnificent! - Wanna really point out the diversity of looks! White women, tons of asians, and a beautiful variety of dark-skinned models (with skin tones ranging from light-black to dark-black). That’s how it’s supposed to be! - The fact that models didn’t had to wear high heels. They look more comfortable and natural when walking. - Their bodies ⁉️❤️ Loved seeing women more on the “slender” side (which still does not represent the average women but it’s still something!) and not extremely thin. I noticed the models’ cute cheeks, the bast majority of them didn’t had collarbones or ribs showing AND I saw some thighs touching each-other 👀❤️ (examples: 3:40 7:17 8:19) - Models were allowed to smile a little bit and/or incarnate the “character” that wears the outfit, and not being forced to walk like robots with no personality. Many of the scarves used are old souvenirs of Italian towns and cities. They are sewn together then used as one piece of fabric for an item. You could do the same using offcuts of fabrics of matching weight.

Mesmerizing! I could watch and listen to this all day! The colors and flow of the fabrics - divine! I like when they smile. The one, I'm sure, was thinking, I have the most amazing gown on - EVER!!! Love the polka dots. All very Italian. My fave is that turquoise and ocher tie-dye. Would love to have just one square of the postcard fabric for a scarf...
