It looks professional- I agree with you, BUT it is not true. I just ordered groceries that were delivered to me two hours ago. These bananas have absolutely no yellow color to them. They are so raw I couldn't even pop the end off to open the banana. I"m 73 years old and have always kept bananas in my home, for eating as well as baking. NEVER BEFORE have I ever seen a banana this green with absolutely no color to them, even at the stem. I called the store manager and was told there wasn't anything hs could do about it. I'm about to call the Dole headquarters. I emailed them earlier but have not heard back. I bought these to begin making banana bread for gifts to give to my family and friends for Christmas I have 10 bunches with 6 on each bunch. I'm disabled and cannot walk, therefore I have to depend on the store clerks to pick out my produce. I am also going to call HEB"s head office and email them with my complaint. Don't believe everything you see on videos and commercials. As Trump always put it, FAKE NEWS!!!

They use Ethelene gas chambers to ripen the bananas in. Banana's that green haven't been treated. So they either missed them or didn't care if they went thru as is. My brother-in-law was a long-haul trucker and on occasion had a truck full of bananas. A canister of Ethelene gas was opened in the back of the truck before the door was closed so the bananas would be ripened by the time they reached their destination. It's actually dangerous stuff if you breathe it in or get it on your skin. And also highly flammable and explosive.
