Canada Post will be more on the losing end. Everyone will be using alternative curriers for their parcels. Canada Post only did it to themselves because every time you turn around, they’re putting up the postal rates.

Whenever I’m at a mall, salespeople jump out at me wanting me to try their wrinkle cream. I always say, “No thanks. I’ve worked hard to get these wrinkles.” They look at me like I’m nuts and skulk back to their little kiosks. I have my granddaughters this weekend too. Yes! No matter what else I’m out and about for, I’m always browsing things for the dolls. Wow! That postal strike sounds crazy for sure. This time of year is pretty busy too. We live in the US, and still have some bills we mail in. Hopefully the strike is resolved soon.

Hi julie. Thanks for sharing your fun day with us. My son is gona be a dad next summer. I went to value village today and got 2 big fill a bag. I stuffed them extremely full with baby clothes and blankets. For $21 . As for canada post, im upset because i had been waiting for 6 months for my john john to be made and he was made in September finished in October and shipped out 4th of November. Im suppose to get him between thr 16-21st but not sure now. Ive already waited almost 7 months for him. But he is so worth it. He is so beautiful. Have a great day and enjoy your fun night ❤

I went to Goodwill last weekend and got Rebekah a few more long sleeve onesies and got her a brand new Christmas outfit. I also got bigger clothes for the next baby I will be ordering soon. I don't want the new baby to have nothing to wear. So I will go out again this weekend and see if I can find a few more. I don't know what size to buy so just buying a few of different sizes. Then will have plenty for other babies down the road. lol

Xmas time is the perfect time for a strike. It puts severe pressure on the powers that be to resolve the strike asap. Our port workers walked off on strike not that long ago. People totally freaked out. I told them to calm down. Timing couldn't be better for quick resolution. It worked for ours, so hopefully the same will happen for you guys.

Times are hard. I am sure the postal workers have good reasons; no one wants to go on strike. Thankfully we have our dolls to escape to. You obviously have a rich and full life loving others and taking care of them. I don’t collect babies, I am a 1/6 scale collector but the hobby and comfort it brings are the same. I also live in Canada.

Woah postal Service on strike this time of year is huge! I use to work just part time in our rural area and it was nuts! Crazy busy this time of year. Even if this is resolved quickly, it’s gonna be a nightmare catching up. So sorry. Hope your baby is somehow home quickly. So glad your goat is doing better.

I’m sure the people who walked out and went on strike at Canada Post did it for really good reasons. These people get treated like they’re robots, I’ve worked for UPS and that’s EXACTLY how they treat every single employee. It’s quite sickening. They don’t care that we’re human and have lives outside of delivering goods. They want us to believe that we live strictly for them. I lasted 4 years then left, I refuse to be treated so poorly. I got bit badly by a dog on my front thigh while working, UPS refused to cover the medical bills and wouldn’t even give me the next day off to recover!! I’m now permanently scarred and a really BIG medical bill. That was the last year I worked there!
