It's like, we all know how hard the Japanese work, it's recognised around the world, yet they absolutely refuse to get a native English speaker to just quickly look over their lyrics, it'd only take a second. See, 'A' is a singular reference, where as 'Sweets' is plural. So the correct way to say it would be, 'Love is Like Sweets' or they could do 'Love is Like A Sweet' (which doesn't follow the natural flow of English but at least it makes objective sense.) But who cares right? Not the Japanese, obviously, it'd take the smallest amount of effort but for some reason in this area they're like 'Pfft Whatever.' I don't know, am I the only one who finds this bizarre?
