It's always fun seeing a vast collection like this. My living room looks similar to all these doll hordes I've seen on KZbin. It's nice to know I'm not the only one out there like this.

Rachel, That is such a WONDERFUL Doll and Toys Museum:)!! Sadly, only in my dreams could I own something so wonderful, but I pray that whoever buys all these lovely Dolls and Toys as well as keeps it a Museum!! I so LOVED that Plantation Dollhouse:)!! And I still have my Iron Stove, which looked like Dolly Mama's miniature iron stove:)!!! I so LOVED seeing so many beautiful Dolls like the vintage Barbies, Kens, Barbie Dream House, Barbie's Pink Corvette, Troll Dolls, many Antique Dolls, Raggedy Anne and Raggedy Andy, Rainbow Brite, and Miss Piggy:)!! I also LOVE Garfield and I still have my Garfield Plush as well as my Garfield Stickers from my Childhood:)!! I too LOVE those old vintage Lunch Boxes:)!! I so remember my Raggedy Anne Lunch Box when I was little:)!! I remember playing Candy Land with my Friends as a Child, but I would have LOVED to have owned a Candy Land Lunch Box back then:)!!! I also LOVE "The Zoo" and I collect Ty Animals as well:)!! I LOVE Steiff Plush, but do not own any yet. Dolly Mama had a beautiful Doll and Toy Collection:)!! Thank you for giving us a tour of her fun, beautiful, and joyous collection of nostalgia:)!!

I'm speechless. I really hope someone purchases this and keeps it going. Sadly when a place or collection of sorts goes up for sale, it's bought, not maintained, or disassembled and sold off. I think this is truly a must see before you pass away.

Wow. Honestly, whoever takes over the care of these treasures is so lucky. A lifetime of learning is to be found here. There's no way another person beyond Phyllis could just start with the knowledge of everything in there that she acquired. That's actually a real gift by itself in my opinion.

I live in Rochester NY home Margaret Woodbury Strong Museum of play... And I noticed that she has a lot of those artifacts out in the open for people to touch There has to be a better way to store those artifacts to keep them from being withered away from the elements that is a beautiful collection though

I would dearly love to visit this museum. What a lot of treasures that building contains. But I'm wondering...how do they keep that place clean with all the dolls and items out of cases? I think it would be a nightmare.
@RachelHoffmanDolls3 жыл бұрын
They just sort of stay clean! The museum has been locked for the last 3 years with no cleaning and that's how it looked.

@@RachelHoffmanDolls That is such a great museum. Hoping wasn't to emotional for you. I have missed so much from you girls. Life have been a bit harsh regarding medical. Getting ready emotionally for Monday to get probably no so good news. It's like I want to know but at the same time want to run away. Keeping busy with my dolls before the storm. Best thing I can do to keep calm and hopeful 🙏.
