Hello everyone! Thank you for returning for another instalment of doll customising.
I asked my instagram followers, many moons ago, what kind of doll they would like to see for a giveaway!
They voted for a Magical theme, and Lunar Witch won so this is what I came up with, I hope you enjoy the process and if you really, really, really love her please go and check out my Instagram.

If I had an suggestions, it would be a Corpse Bride doll 👉👈 Literally my favorite Tim Burton movie as a child. I used to have two of their collectable dolls(Victor and Emily) both of which I was too young to have, seeing as I wanted them to play with and not to collect. I would do anything to jump back in time to nab one of those dolls while they were still on the shelves of Hot Topic.

🎉🎉🎉 I watched this when it first came out & just stumbled upon it on my Playlist for OOAK dolls. This is by far The best doll ever!! I have been collecting all sorts of toys & dolls since birth. As a Celtic Pegan... I have to say that I would so rock this whole look in real life. Down to the skin & makeup! Who knows soon we may have enough magic on this plane of existence ✨ to transform at will! Everything will be possible in a 5D new Earth. For some reason I wasn't getting notifications and found out the Tube unsubscribed me *frustrated muttering*; so I am late to the party on this one (and the subsequent ones). She turned out gorgeous, and that staff is so unique! I love the design for that especially. Very moon goddess! The rose parts of her skin definitely give her life and a warmth, so really a good choice there. Just wow, really. I don't know what else to say that everyone else hasn't. So glad you keep the hair for other other projects. Makes me happy to see you take such care in your work and see how many times it takes to get things just right, even when you already have so much experience. And I adore how you include others into your project; it really gives an extra breath to your art :) I do have a question for you in rerooting, though: When the head is warped or split along the plug holes and you glue them together, do you just create new holes or go through the glue seam? Working on a doll myself that has .... issues.

Oh thank you so much! I’m sorry KZbin unsubscribed you. I honestly don’t know why that happens, it’s madness! So I haven’t had an issue superglueing the head back together and then rerooting, because the glue is so strong it’s almost like it was never open. As long as there is some structure it’s fine to reroot as far as I’ve experienced. Even when the head splits, there’s usually enough hair to keep it all in place. Plus when you glue it on the inside it should stay. I hope that helps, I haven’t had many bad experiences with rerooting and as long as you’re careful it should all work out!

So I’m not sure if this works with all glue, but I’m sure that it works with fabric glue: your can glue down the seams of your fabric, and instead of holding it or using clips you can just use your iron to insta-set the glue in place. This is such a life saver when working on a tiny scale!
