Today is the 1 year anniversary of my KZbin channel and I wanted to celebrate by sharing my entire collection with you! Here is an in depth look and tour of my doll room! As a doll collector who also live in NYC, the “apartment storage game” is one in very familiar with. It also doesn’t help that I’m a costume and bridal gown builder so I also have a MASSIVE a fabric stock and finding new homes for all of it is becoming more and more challenging 😂🤣😅 my collection of Barbie’s alone(not including my rainbow high dolls, my LOL OMG dolls, or my 17”Disney dolls and my Gene Marshall dolls) is almost 2000 Barbie’s big! I have to pick and choose which ones I’m pulling out to display all the time. I’m also not an “in box” collector at all. So the get unboxed and stored in a plastic bin till I have a large enough living space to dedicate an entire room to displaying them. I also make their clothes so I dream of my own personal little Barbie museum to go in and just enjoy!!!

seeing those Mary-Kate and Ashley dolls unlocked so many memories! I couldn’t figure out why they looked SO familiar. I didn’t own these dolls; I owned a lot of the actual outfits bc of their Walmart line! I thought their stuff was cool as a kid, but holy crap their style rly was such a vibe. I wish I had photos of myself in those outfits. I was 8-11 when their stuff was at Walmart. I remember the dolls, I remember so many things now. So cool. love your videos 🥰

🎉❤🎉congrats Grant... bueatiful start to your collection. I started that way about 10 years ago. Trust when I say it's NEVER IN CONTROL AND NEAT😂 part of barbie collection is clutter. But be careful cause the more you get the more out of control it gets. And yes my opinion, place shelves around the whole room like I did. I used to live in a studio apartment in the West village, I have been collecting for 40 plus years ... I like what you did with yours. What I did was organize and put things in storage and rotate parts of my collection. Today I live in Cali & have an office space in our home that is big enough to display everything , but I choose to still rotate everything . Thnx for the great content ! @matthewskydoll

Im so happy to find a doll collector who has a very similar story to mine. Ive been collecting for a year and looking for my childhood dolls too. I found a lot of them including She-ra and western winking barbie with her horse Dallas. Crystal barbie and even kenners sea wees. That's a great collection, thanks for sharing! I never knew my childhood city had the rarest Olsen twin dolls! Also my sister had the Sit n' Style Teresa - that miniature inflatable chair was the coolest thing ever, and I was so tempted to eat those transparent green shoes hah! I surprisingly thrifted two of the pink inflatable chairs at the local charity shop recently, and that vinyl is really durable quality considering their age.

Awesome collection! We collected dolls we enjoyed. I have few vintage Barbie’s with some reproductions, few silkstones. Barbie the Movies complete set. Rainbow High dolls, LOL OMG dolls and my most favorites of all is Bratz. I have huge doll room with craft desk to restore a lot of my dolls. I don’t do KZbin videos because I am deaf. Great doll room tour 👍! I've used almost anything I can get my hands on as risers including the 4 pack foam dice from Dollar Tree 😆 My collection is in our living room, I don't have a separate space so I just have them on shelves too 😎 I definitely would like to get 1 of those glass shelves because they always look so pretty 😍

Such a fun setup! I need to get more cases for a lot of my dolls that're yet to be displayed lol! If the Derrek you're talking about is who I think it is, I actually helped him get the boxed Blockbuster Holiday in the Sun dolls! They were at a vintage toy store I frequented, and were just sitting there for about a year or more, at $25 EACH! I would've honestly loved them for my personal collection (that I had yet to start at the time), but I knew that was one of, I think, three sets he was still missing, so I was more than happy to help out

i have a suggestion for how to display some of your doll where they are easier to see. searcrch for vainet organizers that is how i have the have the stuff n my little mermaid shelf displayed with three level plastic spice rack from amazon. that is also how i have the stuff in my disney princess display organized i plan to get another so i can display the stun on top of my fridge better

It was a birthday 🎁 from my aunt several years ago. Unfortunately my aunt passed away 3 years ago. So my wonder woman Barbie is very special to me.

@@dolls2remember I just got a stack of dolls in the mail today myself! I've opened two but will spread the rest out. I just placed the Then and Now Swimsuit Barbie giftset in a high place for display, and the series ii Little Debbie at an eye level place where I will see her lots. She's super cute. Swimsuit girl shows a lot of skin! I'm not sure about it... I might sell her on. I also got a Dorothy doll after seeing your Dorothy vid. I got the 2006, and I adore her! Nearly cried when I opened the parcel. Placed her in a display case. ☺ I now have them in 3 rooms of my house. And I have one doll in the kitchen, a kitchen theme one. Good luck with your display as your collection grows!

A lot of the 2004 dolls have long hair. The 2003 curl n style have long and very thick hair too, but the color is sort of strange and the fiber is not Saran, it’s very different. But The New York minute dolls have pretty long hair and honestly so do most of the other 2004 dolls :)

@gigiloveyeah yes! The Mary-Kate as Roxy doll in the New York minute set is SO Avril vibes! Her hair comes in a pony tail but with a couple boil rinses you can get it nice and long and straight and can add a little curl back into it too!! Ashley’s hair is super long too
