What's the BEST Bitcoin investment strategy? Lump Sum Investing, Dollar Cost Averaging, or Active Trading? In this video we're going to explore the pros and cons of each investing strategy and look at some REAL data to see which strategy performs BEST under certain market conditions. Dollar Cost Averaging, otherwise known as DCA is where you buy a fixed dollar amount of Bitcoin periodically like weekly or monthly. And you keep that schedule no matter what the price of Bitcoin is. That DCA Calculator is good, but highly inaccurate if you’re trying to compare your investments from year X to Y.

DCA works better for people who are inclined to buy high and then proceed to sell low. LoL 😆😆 I swing trade, buy low and sell high. No time to day trade but if it moves fast, I'm checking the market throughout the day.

I am definitely an Elaine. Dollar cost averaging in is great but so is dollar cost averaging out because you probably don't hit the top when you sell the first time.

Nah. Just set it and forget it. Wait until you're ready to retire then start withdrawing a certain percentage so you never run out of money. With stocks I use the 4% withdrawal rule. Not sure about Bitcoin, the percentage could be higher since it has a higher rate of return.

A few question about DCA'ing. My salary is not stable. One month i can save 70€, another i can save 90€, does that affect the strategy in a meaningful way? Another question is why not add a bit of technical analysis to DCA. As an example, when RSI is below 30 and price is below 200 EMA you buy twice a month instead of once, in order to buy even lower without trying to time the market. I haven't backtested this, but maybe it works.

Well just set the periodic buy at less than your savings rate. So in your case make it 50 or so? Just needs to be consistent and not something that is going to break the bank and be unsustainable
