My daughter and I scored at 7 stores today. We weren't going to go, cause we were so tired from the 3 previous days. But the penny list just kept getting bigger. So glad we went! ❤😊

Also the lemon peppered chicken, mentos sour gum, no sugar added applesauce, truvia, zarbees kids medicine, beef n cheese sticks, Himalayan salt grinder, meat tenderizer, Cinnamon dust, free dent gum. I’m still trying to go through it all so I can donate to the pantry 😂

Where can you donate medications and vitamins? We ended up with more than we will use. Definitely check expiration dates…. Out of my haul today, I left behind probably a dozen when I did look, and I have about 40 expired here at home that I didn’t check at the store….

YMMV. Interesting some of the stores I went to had many of those items, however they were not pennies. They even were in the clearance section. When I checked out on one store the manager was gonna have a talk with her employees. She had been gone and "they were supposed to take care of that". Other stores just didn't seem to care. And others I found 1 penny. I was best there or the stores in my area were really good at pulling them.

There have been studies that show hard pill medication is still good 10 years beyond its expiration date. Liquids don't last as long. But they still don't need to be pitched instantly.

I'm in Green Bay wisconsin and I talked to the clerk at Dollar General and she said thd manager comes in at 2 am the day the list comes out and pulls all the items on the list. They send them back to corporate because they get a credit for these item. We will never get anything from the penny list. Consider yourself very lucky.
