Exactly. I had to have this stuff, or the next few days/week would have been misreable, and I don't think the food pantry will be open next week.

I shop at DG a great deal, I wish their frozen foods and dairy etc were more reasonable, but I guess they're considered convenient. 😅 you needed that powdered sugar for your icing! Generic cookies 3.50!? Wow, they got you. Apparently it's a thing for the prices to be wrong at dg, I've never noticed myself.

I'm positive the prices I quoted were the prices I saw. Minus the chocolate chip cookies.Those said $1.35! I barely shop at DG in the winter. It's a 3 mile round trip with no sidewalks. And they're prices are very high. The local grocery is the same price or cheaper usually. However, DG has more variety on non-food items. and the antacids are $5 for 50 tablets, which is why I went down there yesterday. (the antacids were so important that I stuck them in my purse!) the eggs yesterday were $5,.15. I didn't look at much else. But hte last time I bought the chicken fried steaks, they were $9.99, and the fries were $6.... Somewhere around $6.
