I like Dollarama, lol! They have good camping stuff for cheap. As for the chargers, I use the solar powered one to charge the big blackberry battery pack. Both are usually on the dashboard of the car until I need them. Here's a tip, if you can't find a water proof bag for your phone or wallet etc you can use a ZIP lock bag when hiking, kayaking and hunting. I usually double bag.

Omg. Fellow Canadian! And you answered my question... No info on its capacity on the bank itself lol. I assumed it was in the ballpark of around that... 1500-2000 mAh. Good to kno!

Its on the box 1800 mAh, good guess. The cable that comes with it (if you got that version) also says not to use a wall charger that exceeds 1 amp which is good to know, most new wall chargers are above that. That should prolong the life of the cell.

careful when you buy it. Test it before cause I bought 5 and 3 didn't worked. I assumed they are using recycled batteries. I opened it and the 3 batteries were at 0 volts. Which is a dead battery!

Sometimes its surplus or failed QC . I once bought some batteries from the dollar store that had a fail stamp on it!

Hello there! I can think of a couple things. Are you Fairy lights LED or regular bulbs. the regular bulbs draw a whole lot more power . Charge it up. It should only take 3-4 hours to be fully charged. and plug it into your phone. charge your phone and see how much it charges until it shuts off. If you get the same results then you might have unfortunately bought a dud. Plan B, If it charges your phone a decent amount and your bulbs are LED. Then the bulbs might be drawing too much power. Upgrade to one of those 10,000milliamp or even a 20,000 milli amp with a 5 watt output. Walmart, best buy Canadian tire etc sells em for pretty reasonable prices now. about 20-30 bucks. Plan C . Check the manual that came with the lights, They may offer a specific plug connector for these. Or maybe they forgot to include the connector. Plan D good ol led plug in lights from the dollar store, A string of 25 -30 LED bulbs color or plain white for a buck a piece. Get bout 5 of these , connect them and you've got some nice ambient lighting for 5 bucks and no need for the constant recharging!

@@heyrandyman that's awesome they seem reliable unlike one knock off brand that got so hot it almost exploded but since you seem to have good luck with yours I think I'll be ok as well thanks for the review I know what I'm picking up soon

How do we turn it on ?
@heyrandyman
@heyrandyman 2 жыл бұрын
Plug it in to a power source /usb port and it automatically starts recharging. plug it into a device and it automatically begins charging the device. Once its done it shuts itself off. if you disconnect it. it turns itself off as well!

I posted that 2 years ago and it's still used to power my blue tooth speaker on hike and camp trips! Of course with these newer phone and heavy duty batteries. It'll maybe charge it up 40-50%

@@mschocolate531 No problem! Theyre great and affordable little powerbanks. If you dont mind spending a bit more. I would recommend the one with the solar panel. If you are out and about for a couple days. They are a lot more affordable on amazon in the last couple years.
