Hey guys! Today I am doing the third episode of dollar store makeovers! You guys really love this series, so I decided to continue on!
I decided to go shopping at the Dollar Store for a couple of items that I thought would be fun to paint on, customize and decorate to make them more of my style. I noticed shopping at the Dollar Tree, that there were so many cute things that had a lot of easy DIY potential. I wanted to do this to show that you don't need to spend a lot to have fun with art and customizing things. There are so many cheap and affordable items to be painted on! I hope I give you some fun ideas for easy dollar store flips!
This dollar store makeover includes all sea themed projects in order to raise awareness to the #teamseas project!

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 26 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. the second item that Moriah painted was called an oil burner, it was used to perfume the room, the top was filled with water and a few drops of essential oil and heated using a candle underneath it. I love your vid ❤️

The thought that it's a waste of time and money is a dangerous thought in and of itself because it leads to negligence and apathy. And there are MANY organizations and charities out there dedicated to cleaning the ocean: together, it adds up. So please don't call this a waste.

I love those finished items, especially the tray - the glaze makes it look like damp sand on the beach. Maybe Moriah should auction them off to raise money for the cause? I don’t think she’ll want to give away any of her very ORIGINAL decorated items, especially because they are one of a kind, for real. She won’t have anything else exactly like it, even though it’s for a cause, I still feel like she could keep the stuff that she made by hand, for memories later on. It’s not much but when I run out of paper in my notebooks/sketchbooks, I take the backings off and use them for poster boards, it actually works really well, especially the A3 covers💜

Omg Moriah I thought about the beat idea. I did think about this like two years ago- well whatever. So basically you know pop sockets? The things you put on your phones to make it easier to hold? Ya, so they are amazing canvases. Not too tiny and not too big. Also they come in plain white so you can buy plain ones and paint them. Or you can buy patterns and just paint a character on top to make it have a cool background. (Not forcing, its just a idea)
