The Girl Scouts, well my troop, always whipped the wax in a blender. Poured it I to a milk carton with ice in to! It was beautiful since it wasn't a solid block of wax!

These are beautiful! I had a great Aunt and Uncle who made candles that looked like food. Now this was 50 years ago. They made me a banana split and the cool whip on top looked just like yours. I was so excited when i got it. I was about 7. I had the candle forever. Well when i went away to school i put my stuff in a storage building. My candle melted. The thing is that candle was such a happy memory for me. Little things can mean a lot. I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas!

For your first DIY, with the lantern, I seen that the back was flat. For those of you who may want to spend a touch more money,...... you could buy big double sided magnets at dollar tree, buy two of those lanterns, glue the magnets on the back of each lantern, and then the lanterns would stick together, and the lanterns would be a complete 360 piece. it would create a full size 360 lantern that you could still hang up or put on a post ---------- just a thought. Then if you had to switch on the lantern, because they may be battery operated, you can simply pull them apart, turn them on and stick the magnets back together ❤️. _______________________________ I looooved your "joy" DIY. So so super pretty and creative.
