Love the diys. A couple of other ideas. 1. To do a faux leather look use brown craft paper or paper grocery bag crumple it up and mod podge to to your surface the paint and distress as you would like. 2. For the faux leather look again I’ve used masking tape use what ever with you want I use narrower for smaller items and wider for larger items. Apply tape to your surface paint and/or distress as you want. 3. For your wooden rainbow I think using the snakes too make a frame around a canvas would look great. Your diys are always beautiful it shows you put a lot of thought into them. Thank you for sharing your talents and God bless.

Hi Rebecca, #1 Your hair looks awesome #2 Your home and kitchen always looks great #3 I loved all these crafts but my #1 favorite is the rainbow. I like it as a stand alone piece too. When I first saw all the snakes on your table they gave me the willys even in the store they gross out my mind, but I truly love this piece. Just last Sunday in my Dad's heated garage for our Bible study we studied about Noah and the flood and the rainbow being the promise sign. How cool that was our study on Sunday and now you have made this. Renee looks so pretty. She reminds me of my niece Hannah who will turn 18 this August. Children grow up too quick. Very nice. Really creative idea with the car mat. The last project, I could see adding a smal container to fit in front of the white space and maybe add some greenery. Something in a vine style maybe that can flow out from the container, but not fully cover up the black base.

I love the plant pot using the trifle bowl. Personally, I think I would stain it, but not too dark and for me, I would put some thing around the middle to cover the seams of the two blocks meeting. it’s such a beautiful conceptg

I loved the wooden snakes that looked like a rainbow. I think it would look good if you cut the white out of the bottom part & let the wooden snake rainbow stand on its own. Then you could add a small bit of greenery &/or a ribbon to add some color. I think that would look beautiful.

The trifle bowl plant pot is so cute! I wouldn't stain it...I would leave the wood natural. Then I would take the leather ribbon from dollar tree and rap it around the middle where the first tier and second tear of blocks line up. The snake rainbow i like stand alone.. but I think i might cut the center white board out. I think it might look more high end that way.

My favorite however is the black and natural wood planter!? I love everything you do so it's hard to pick a favorite, but I really like black and light natural wood or copper and black. I personally like natural wood not dark, always. But on this particular piece, the planter, I love the contrast of the natural wood and the black below and above. Happy accident?... that the pot you put in there was black. Seriously love the block square candle holder piece! I like both the natural wood and the all black versions.

Love, love the "snake" handles! I'm going to do the "snake" rainbow, but I'm going to put wood blocks behind each section to make them stick out from the canvas so it has a 3-D effect. PS: You need a very sharp blade on your X-acto knife and you won't get those "hangies".
