Dollar Tree DIY Christmas Advent Calendar

I saw those drawers back in stock at Dollar Tree and I immediately knew I wanted to use them for an advent calendar. Of course, I came to KZbin, typed in DT, advent and DIY, and your idea from last year was the first one to come up. This is absolutely amazing and I'm definitely going to re-create it.

Your creativity amazes me! I saw the drawers on your channel and in my nearest DT but I couldn't think of any reason i needed these little boxes in my life . Then, BooM! Great job! Excellent! I made my advent calendar for my 16 year old daughter using the dollar tree white party favor boxes from the wedding section. Alternating the gifts I put inside , with green and red tissue paper. I used a black marker for the numbers. I love how yours turned out! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼🙋🏻🎄🎄🎄🎄

Just a thought on an alternative position of the vertical pieces. You could put two at the bottom stacked horizontal or vertical (side by side) as a tree trunk. However this would make the green part of the tree shorter and look wider.

Jay, I used your idea of the K cup holder. I used 2 pie pans, 2 1/2 packs of shower hooks. I used a you tea set and used 3 cups to make the middle stand, then I used the 4th cup with a saucer and spoon and tea pot on the very top but using a small round board to make a platter blinging a single roll. I wish I could send you a pic but I don't do any social media other than youtube. Thanks for the great idea!!!!!!
