I MADE THIS!! I watched this video and LOVED what you did so I made it. The only thing I added was spray painting the hand piece in a deep red, then quickly wiping it down with a paper towel while it was freshly painted. This gave it a "fresh bone" look. You can also do this technique with black or brown to make it look even more realistic. Other than that, this worked great and looks fantastic. I did have one problem, which I think I realized what was wrong. I had older muslin-type of fabric which I didn't realize until afterwards, was not really absorbent.After about an hour of hanging, the hand fell off (scaring the crap out of me, by the way). I decided to re-cover the glass using some old gray cheesecloth I had from an old mask I no longer used and this did the trick. From this I realized 2 things... hot glue does NOT stick to glass permanently, and the fabric you use must be absorbent. OH! One more thing which helped... I used Elmer's spray adhesive on the glass to attach the cloth which I find works better with glass and light fabric than Mod Podge, and it's less messier :) This was a great inspiration for my own DIY Halloween decor. I have been thinking of starting a channel since I have been inspired to create lately and if I do, I will be sure to let you know and will reference you in that video :) YOU TRULY INSPIRED me on this and there are so many things that can be done starting with this. Very talented!! Thanks, again, for showing us this! I LOVE IT!!

Yeah, hot glue doesn’t stick to glass very well, that’s why I took the glass out so it could stick to the paper and the cloth... also I had some people spray painting the hand like copper, gold etc to give it a more glamorous look... You sound so creative! You should definitely start a channel! Let me know so I can check it out! I love Halloween -- the spookier the better -- and thought this looked very promising (I'd never watched anything of Mommy T's before). First few seconds, cool. Then she pops up and shrieks "HI...!!!" I almost jumped right off the couch! And this is coming from someone who once slept in an old graveyard on Halloween (full moon, no less). If that was intentional, Mommy T, you deserve an Oscar, lol. Now that my heartbeat is back to normal, I'll continue with the video.
