Hey everyone!!!! Thank you for watching! I wanted to give you an update on this project....my husband wanted to get rid of the command strips because he said by getting portrait hooks it would be more secure for this project. And you know what he was right! He put the portrait hooks on the back of the foam boards and hooked them on the wall for more security. You can do either or. Just wanted to give an update on my project.

Thank you for the inspiration! I've done this a couple of times & I would just like to make a few suggestions to other ppl that may want to try this DIY 1st suggestion I doubt you'll find the Dollar Tree version of these plates but if you research you'll find something similar online or in store but it may cost you a little more I paid 3$ for a pack of 28 , 2nd suggestion I wouldn't put the big glob of glue in the middle of the plate it eats thru the plastic if you squeeze just a small amount & apply it along the bottom ridge of the plate you won't get those big dents in the middle & my last suggestion as for mounting I used stretched canvas paintings that I didn't like & painted over them & glued the plates directly to the canvas It made for very easy hanging Again thank you for your inspiration it's beautiful & I show everyone who asks me about my work where I got the idea
