That's the beauty of KZbin! If you do not like what you see here, and things I do annoy you, there are so many other options and creators who you may like better!! Bless you on your journey to find those who don't annoy you💜😊 But, on THIS channel we like being fuzzy inside!! Have a great week Joan!

@@mtaylor1498 I always try to look at the glass half full. I say it all the time, my content might not be for you.. ( not you,, but ya know)..lol But, that is what I love love love about KZbin. There is always another creator around the corner to inspire you or entertain you! I am some peoples cup of tea and I do not expect everyone to agree with me or even like everything. But, I am happy to remind those who feel the need to let me know anything rude that they should deff waste there time somewhere else finding what they love. Life it to short to waste it watching things that they don't love and get annoyed at!!!

That metal lace….❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love that idea for a riser. I saw the video, where you made the original, I think….but we all know….I FORGET EVERYTHING. 😂 Those pallet pumpkins are gorgeous! You know, I don’t watch a lot of DT DIY videos, anymore, I prefer thrift flips, because everyone makes the same things, with a lot of the DT items, but your ideas are so unique, and so beautiful, I usually love them all. Your purple finger… 😂 Your pain is our gain. That pink pallet vase thingy, at the end, is beautiful. I love that color.

This comment is unbelievably sweet!!! Thank you for that. That exact reason is why I decided to pull away from doing ALL DT decor videos.. I will do DIYs with wood of theirs and thats it, and really just to give inspiration for the people. I feel like a lot of ideas run together and do not want anyone to feel like...meh I seen that done. And, dont get me wrong I am sure I have similar ideas to others very often but I sketch out every video usually to bring the best DIYs I can in every video. ( not saying others do not) I strive to stay out of channels contents that are not people I talk to like liz, angela, kimo, or love like holly at hot humble -pie... I just love love love her..

OOooo good picks Dalaine. ahh yes.. SO...lol.... initially she was supposed to just be like a commentator but now the subbies have coined her my alter ego, lol and refer to her as a meme....lol I actually have merch with her on it, people love her so much! Not everyone, I do have some who complain about her but than other subbies usually get very opinionated when they see that, because she is a staple. Literally been around since I started the channel just about! I tend to say whatever..lol I like to just be real with people even if it is TMI sometimes. I feel like many of us may experience the same things and we just don't say or joke about it. I love to joke about everything. Even when it may be inappropriate...lol Anyhow, I also chat a lot.. not always but..lol I do comments every morning, (even on weekends) unless I see questions right after a publish. I do try to answer those ASAP. If you would ever need anything answered sooner I get DMs on IG all the time! Take care my new friend! Have a blessed weekend!

Have you every tried the Decoupage burning Technique . Put mod podge on your project or pallet let dry . Lay napkin or tissue paper then a piece of parchment paper and iron on high until reactivates the glue and it sticks . No Wrinkles and not wet. And instead of cut it between slats you light with a lighter and it burn it all away !!! It is really cool I just discovered this . Not my idea . I did pallet and some words . Saw it on KZbin . It is worth trying !!! Love you projects

Brandi, your creative brain must sometimes get achy and sore from always coming up with such great ideas using the blocks and pallets! That spiral one…wow! Looks amazing! My favorites are also the one you said was your favorite 😍 and the first one with the “autumn” napkin 😍. That napkin definitely gives me warm fuzzies. I had several issues when mod podging on the pallets and from watching you, I can already tell what my problem was…too much mod podge! For some reason, I decided to give it a mod podge soaking bath. 😂 I adore decoupaging but I have to constantly remind myself that less is more. As for tata sweat…girl, I feel ya completely! Hot summer weather + large tatas = uncomfy sweat in weird spots. No thanks. A moment of silence for the man who invented air conditioning. 🙏🏼🙌🏼 Anyway, hope your upcoming weekend is an amazing one! Hugs! 🌼🍃💛

If your going to IRON the napkin or use paper then a lot is fine.. one because the paper is THICKER usually.. if we are talking hobby lobby paper. Tim holtz not so much, pretend its a napkin,...lol If your going to IRON on your napkin then use a lot of mod podge and let it completely dry... than lay the napkin over it... the iron heats the mod pod and it fuzzes the two but don't forget your wax paper in between... For thinner use a little and also its a napkin so once that thin layer dries you can come back in and layer over top what did not attach to your project will because it will soak up the mod podge through the napkin onto the surface. I hope that helps... Maybe I need a for real tutorial...lol I smell bonus video***

Have you seen the channel “Country Outback Crafts?” She has some interesting ways to decoupage. She, also, has some really cool ideas with clay, stamps, and napkins. Anyway, she burns her projects, with a lighter, after she decoupages them, to get the excess paper off. So, for instance, instead of cutting the excess off your pallets, she would burn it. I thought it was interesting, and quick. I haven’t tried it, but, after I saw her video, I have seen other people doing it, too. It doesn’t appear to leave burn marks, I think she files her project, with a nail file afterward, but I can’t remember. I just thought you would enjoy some of her ideas. She also will use Saran Wrap and an iron, to decoupage things. I thought that was neat, too, depending on what look your going for. I don’t think that the wood grain, or paint color, that you lay down first, would show through the Saran Wrap technique, as well as the glue. However, if that is a look you are going for, it was interesting. I really think you might like some of her ideas, if you haven’t seen her channel before. I have never seen anyone do the clay, stamp, napkin idea, on her channel, before, either. It turns out beautiful.
@thediystruggle
@thediystruggle 3 жыл бұрын
I will check her out. Idk if I would be comfortable burning because a lot of that stuff is flammable, BUT I would have to see the technique! I do not like to knock anything before I see or try it!..lol Using water is a really easy way too but this I guess is just what I have gotten used too! I feel insulted Miss Molly... I deff have ironed on things... I feel unloved you have not seen those😭...AHAHAHA jk.. I deff will check her out. Thank you as always. You know I love learning new!
@MissMolly3377

@@thediystruggle No, I haven’t seen you iron on, or, at least, I don’t remember seeing that. 😂 I will have to go look. I have seen almost all of your videos, I think…I may have missed some of the older ones, though. I have seen people use an iron in the past, but she uses the Saran Wrap sort of like glue….she glued her napkin to Saran Wrap, then, she takes the iron or hair dryer and she melts that Saran Wrap to the wood, or whatever. That was the first time I had seen that done. I haven’t tried the burning trick, either, I just thought it was interesting. I would be worried I might catch the house on fire. 😂 I usually just cut and file/sand, like you do. I am definitely making some of those pallet pumpkins. They are so fun. She also uses the shrink wrap, like for windows, in the winter time, for some of her decoupage projects. She decoupaged a rock, and I think she put that shrink wrap over it, to protect it, and other projects she puts it under the napkin.
