I appreciate the fact that you used dollar tree signs. it kind of goes with out saying that we could use real wood, but wood is heavy to hang on a wall. It also takes the creativity out of the project. I think the plain burlap goes perfectly with this picture, it looks to me like it matches the Blessed word. I love this and you did a great job, as always. Thank you for sharing this, you showed us how to do many things without even realizing it. ❤️

I love the natural look of the bow and leaves. Instagram was right! I really like using the Dollar Tree boards. As a long time woodworker, I can tell you that the problem with real wood is if you do not seal it first, the minute you touch it with a water-based anything it will buckle and it does not hold its shape, while these boards, inexpensive as they are, will actually hold their shape over time. I’m not exactly sure what they’re made of - some kind of pressed cardboard I think, but I really like the fact that they are so versatile. It is super cute. I I love using using the word in the center and separating the pumpkin and I like the size of it because it makes a nice impact in a room. Plus the finished back makes it professional looking. I made 3 fall pumkins 1 for me, 1 for my mom, and 1 for my aunt. I Needed 3 styrofoam pumkins, some paint, fake fall leaves and fake flowers. My mom and aunt were verry happy with their gift 😊🎃🤗

I love your crafts. What I really like is that. not only are they cute, but they are relatively easy and inexpensive. I have several grandkids I enjoy doing crafts with, and I work with adults with disabilities and we do crafts at least once a month. I am always looking for ideas to use with them ( which is how I found you). We often have upwards to 15 individuals so doing crafts that require supplies from lumber stores or larger craft stores are not financially possible.

Hi Katelyn. Another good reason to use the Dollar Tree signs is that it makes the project very light weight. The older I get the heavier things seem to me!!! :) So, although buying wood is an option, using those signs makes everything so easy to handle!! Another benefit? No splinters!

They fit in my little car easily and don’t require me to have a lot of storage space like a piece of plywood does. Love the pumpkin and wood blessed sign. I do a lot of green, pink, and purple colors. I fell in love with the moss color the 1st time I used it! Try some on the leaves of your flowers sometime. It makes those fall leaves pop!

Hey sweetie I love the way your pumpkin turned out its simply beautiful I like the fact that you can really personalize this to your own taste...you asked what color you would choose to do this if you made it...this is where I think any one could take this idea and really run with it and make work in their decor....just like you using blessed instead of welcome because of where you were going to place it or use the same goes for the color...for instance I can see this in any color traditional or nontraditional fall colors as well as glammed out for a more sophisticated formal dining room or even give it a French country style feel...its gorgeous whichever way its presented simply because of your design...great job thanks for sharing I always enjoy your videos and truly appreciate the way you use items that are available and affordable to all your viewers. By the way I feel that the orange leaf bow would've worked as well if you would have more orange on the board to pull from ...maybe the pumpkin sitting on a a bed different shades of orange fall leaves to help tie the orange color in..but for the look you were going for the burlap bow is perfect...thanks again for sharing your ideas and tips and for reading my reply..have great day and enjoy your children they grow so fast God bless and stay safe 😊

Love this! The plain burlap bow was the best choice because the other one was too bright for the muted tones you were using. Had the orange been a muted tone, it might’ve worked. Although, the one with the orange did have a hardness to it that may not have worked either. I don’t know what that bow would go with, honestly, because it does look hard. I’m interested to see what you can find for it to go with. Love your channel, and you don’t need to worry so much about changing things up, just because some people say so. You need to be you, or you’re going to lose your joy in doing this! Take care.
