Hi, everyone. I hope you like these fellas - they were ridiculously easy to make and fit on both my large and pencil trees.

This made me smile because I like the sped up ones best after making a few from one of the first videos you did 😂. Maybe there’s a way to label one of your earlier tutorials as “the slow, step-by-step”, basic, watch first ones. Once you get the basics, it’s easier to understand what you are doing👍🏻

I made 2 white angel tree toppers and they were a big hit last year. I just got asked to make 4. I leave the tinsel on (I only use the silver or white). The felt goes on easily and the inside has a nice finish.

ooh, good to know, Simone. I'll try and pick up a couple more and try felt instead of fleece!

I like them both but the one with the fleece nose is definitely more boopable.I'm hoping one of our Dollar Trees carry this tinsel tree. If not I will finagle something in its place so I can make some to keep and to sell. Thanks

i like the BIG nose! i have trouble sometime hiding the hole that is in the bead.
@SarahNenniDaher3 жыл бұрын
Are you using fur? If so, point the bottom bead hole INTO the fur and the top hole will be covered by the hat.

I am making one of these and I was wondering what to do with the tinsel and it fits perfectly in a clear plastic ornament (the large one) from the Dollar Tree 🌳. Super pretty and glam.

I actually made 2 - out of 6" witch hats found at a non-Dollar Tree Dollar store in my area. I cut the "brim" portion off, then went to town. I used polymer clay to create noses; one a "traditional" ball, the other more "human-like.". I was ASTOUNDED by how very much I liked the "humanesque" nose. I NEVER thought to use them as tree toppers though! Since I, living full time in a 33" bumper pull trailer, am limited for space & only have a 24" tree, I'm thinking one of my gnomes from last year, is going to be "repurposed" as my tree topper!!!
@SarahNenniDaher3 жыл бұрын
Ooh, that's a good idea, Lora. Those witch hats went too fast around here - I never even saw them. :( And I love that you're on the road full time. I am so tempted when the little one gets a bit older.

@SarahNenniDaher3 жыл бұрын
They are a bit tricky, the hands. What is it that you're using? I've shown how to do various styles of mittens and clay or wood beads. What would you like yours to look like, Wanda?

what is the tree form called, im in the uk and cant find them
@SarahNenniDaher2 жыл бұрын
Same as you, a tree form here. If you can look for a paper maché or cardboard cone, it will work the same and, honestly, I prefer the solid sides of these. If you can't find either, you can use a poster board to create your own cone, as well.

@@aprilmadison8221 Oooh look at you go! Yeah, I've been asked by a lot of people to design some gnomes with pool noodles. They're less solid than I normally would like but I'm trying to figure out what I can do to change that!
