I've been wearing dollar tree makeup my whole life, grew up pretty darn poor and I was always definitely able to always make it work, noone ever thought or said "oh she's wearing dollar tree makeup" lol, I did always go ahead and get a good CoverGirl mascara forsure and a good liquid eye liner about $20 bucks and pretty much the rest would be dollar tree/ hammy down things from my aunt!! I preferred and seriously love there old BB cream in white and blue squeeze tube in light, I hope it's not gone forever!

Last week I bought an LA colors roll-on lipgloss from the dollar tree. I got it in watermelon and it really is a decent dupe for the old school Maybelline kissing gloss back in the day. I was instantly transported to elementary school. I was so excited by it, I showed all my friends at work and they went out and bought some, so now we are club with super shiny lips! Lol

The dollar tree blushes and bronzers have found their way to my daughter's dance makeup bag. Some glitters and lip products as well. The colors are bold and show up on stage and if something gets lost...we aren't out much money.

I love it when you do affordable drugstore make-up looks because I can not afford high-end make-up at the moment. I am loving the Hard Candy foundation along with the liquid bronzer and blush. Drugstore make-up is on fire lately. I am loving your full-face tutorials and look forward to more. Good to know! I've been very impressed by my Hard Candy primers, and I never thought of them for complexion products. The visibly volumizing primer is not really very plumping, but it is a lovely simple primer that does its own job when you've prepped your skin just how you like it! The hydrating primer mist is a bit sticky & works a lot like a grippy primer, plus it's a decent hydrating setting spray (works pretty well if you forget to prime a sparkly & dusty eye haha). It smells weird but that's very temporary, as is the stickiness if you use it to set or refresh. Not perfect by far, but for the price point, they both deliver all day for much less.

Guys... the Sassy Chic BB cream is amazing from Dollar Tree. My sister bought it one day and I was poo pooing it, but I read the ingredients and they were minimal and had no mineral oil, mostly glycerine, etc. I have to mix two colors but it's gorgeous on the skin, wears great, very moisturizing... I use it a lot in the winter. The quantity is generous as well!

I go to Dollar Tree every week while my girls are at dance classes and I've tried out a lot of makeup through the years. I got so excited when I saw you got that l.a. colors matte bronzer and the dahlia blush. Those are SO good for the price!!! Recently I saw both Revlon lipsticks and Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick at my store. I bought a bunch of colors. The LA Colors products actually are recently repackaged and reformulated and are of better quality now. The be pure essentially ageless line also has a good light concealer but it's light coverage. The face powder and another blush as well as lipsticks. It's worth it to keep going back. I'd love to see a Dollar Tree part 2 from you in the future. The Ioni products are in an end-cap display in the back of my store

I'm from a small town and I can concur that we have a pretty crappy beauty section. I can't really find anything in my store. However if I go thirty minutes north to the bigger city where I work, their beauty section is much bigger and much nicer. So I think everyone has a different experience based on where you live. At the big city one I found some ioni glitter liners that I really really loved. You were a very good sport and I could tell you were intentionally being very positive. I found a bunch of Revlon Kiss Cloud Blotted Lip at my local, usually crappy, DT a couple weeks ago. I have a green L.A. Girl corrector that’s absolutely phenomenal. And about half my Wet ‘n Wild brushes are from there too! And Biscuits in the background at the beginning (and continuously throughout!) is such an extra serotonin boost.

yes, I got the LA colors peach corrector in a pinch. How is this not their star product? Covers raccoon levels on light to medium. Stays fresh looking and no crepeyness under balm foundation/concealer.

I am loving those Revlon's, playing with them as blush right now! The chapstick brand skinny shimmer sheers with SPF are more like a subtle but medium coverage lipstick and I really like them for outdoor work events!

The LA Colors eyeliner (the LIQUID pen style one) is amazing, it's replaced the more expensive pen style liquid eyeliners for me, I just buy several when my Dollar Tree has them in stock.

Totally enjoyed this video. I use several products from the makeup lines they sell. I use a LA Colors 'baked' blush as a contour and bronzer. It is way too brown for a blush, but has a very slight reddish tone which makes it work as a contour. Thank you again!

Back in my very early makeup days when I could only afford DT makeup, LA Colors blushes and bronzers were my number ones! I even panned a few way down to where the powder only took up the outer rim if the pan 😄 their lip products are really good too ❤ I just bought a lipstick, and it's in a very chic looking black, square component, with gold trim separating the cap/bottom. The color is gorgeous, and very moisturizing; satin finish. I also picked up a WnW blush in Mellow Wine, and have their old Silent Treatment quad, and their large eyeshadow brush, also purchased at DT a couple of years ago, that I'm still using daily!💜 poor kitty! Hope she gets to feeling better soon ❤🐈❤

Love how you really tried to find things that can work on an every day look im always looking for hidden gems at the $store ....my dollar tree has alot of elf products lipsticks eyeliner pressed powder and brushes I got my last trip as well as ioni lashes I also got LA COLORS mineral pressed powder and love that powder it's a beautiful powder to set my makeup and for touch ups ..they have these brush cleaners it comes in a tin type of container for easy switching of colors no spraying brushes just swipe on the pad and you can use the brush right away

I've worn LA Colors makeup for YEARS. I'm 41 years. I have quite the collection from them. For the most part, I think they are great and similar to Wn'W and Essence. Not just in price point, but quality. Shade ranges on certain products are hit and miss ESPECIALLY at DT, but overall, the brand is very good. Not a lot of people use La Colors brand. But I sent them an email telling them to basically get it together because they do have great products for amazing prices. Get on the bandwagon and follow your competitors, LA COLORS!!!

I've found flower eyeshadow quads and some Rimmel jelly blushes they also carry Ioni products on a end cap display. Very good things at my dollar tree shade range on complexion stuff isn't the greatest but sometimes I get lucky lol. It pays to go maybe twice a month the good stuff goes quick.

In the same LA Colors blush line as the blush she showed first (with the tiny brush applicator), Dollar Tree has a shade called “Pink Blush” (very creative shade name 🙄). It’s that cool baby pink blush color, identical to the Dior? blush shade that went viral months ago (the blush that was rumored to be worn by Kylie). It’s been my ABSOLUTE favorite blush from any brand, anywhere for years. It seems like it might be to light colored to show up, but it build up perfectly and is just the perfect easy-to-use, pretty colored, versatile (I use it as a quick one shade eyeshadow) product! I love love love it but have never seen it used in a Dollar Tree makeup video! They’ve carried the “Pink Blush” shade since as far back as I can remember, and it’s very very likely to be stocked at nearly all locations - unlike some really great products that I see people finding at Dollar Tree, but that I can never seem to find. Try it!! It’s a REAL hidden gem that I’ve never ever seen used in a video!

I can't remember the last time I was at $Tree, because they never had any good products that people on YT were raving about. Emily, you can make any makeup look good! I was definitely impressed by the bronzer, contour, and blushes, even the eyeshadow! They are perfect travel sized items. I wish I had this option in my high school and college days. Unfortunately, in the 70s - 80s, drugstore makeup was awful. All foundations were orange on me. I could only wear Revlon powder foundation that matched my skin. I didn't start wearing foundation until the late 90s when I was properly color matched at the Lancôme counter at the department store. What a difference that made! We have so many product options at every price point now, it's a makeup lover's dream!!

Love this video! I love hidden Dollar Tree finds! That B Pure brand also makes a nice pressed powder and a nice bronzer and I do like their blush. My Dollar Tree has a full line of Ioni products, lashes, blushes, highlighters, brow stuff, etc. They also had a display of foundations and concealers from the brand Le Mercerie but I wasn't impressed with the coverage. They also have a brand called Remy Rose which is very hit and miss but they have some pretty liquid lipsticks! As far as LA Colors goes they make some pretty darn gorgrous powder highlighters! Lots more beauty stuff at Dollar Tree!!!

But I was really impressed with the skincare I can't wait to go back and see what they have. Hey Em. Been watching your channel since before kid #1. Lol The thing that I appreciate most about you is that you keep it real in a world where we are bombarded with fakeness on social media. I had two thoughts for videos that I thought could be helpful or spark some ideas in that creative mind of yours: 1. I have no children but I know a lot of people do and I’d love to see a version of this for kids dance/cheer makeup. Dollar trees can get exclusive limited edition products from L.A. Colors! They had a (quickly depleted) display last summer that had AMAZING liquid blushes in little tubes! I never saw them anywhere else though. It's really sad because I would buy more L.A. Colors i it was widely available!

Omg Em. Just tried the Hard Candy Ultimate Lash Extention Mascara and WOW so good! I've had lash Extentions for months and decided to give my eyes a break.. but I have short straight lashes. I've tried L'oreal Telescopic Lash Lift whatever it's called and wasn't a fan, it was soo messy! I also tried LA Girl Plush Lash which was fine, but too natural and didn't hold a curl.. I haven't watched yet but I can't believe what I have found with Ioni blush. I mean it's like a dupe for the nars and I found mabelline lipstick. This color that was discontinued of course right now. I can't remember the name but it's like a red coral irradescent IT'S GORGEOUS!

I remember back in the day Dollar Tree and Big Lots had the best LE/discontinued makeup. I remember finding Maybelline Dream Mousse blushes and eyeshadows for $1 or so. I think I bought every color I could find. I wish they would bring those back. They were really good.

I was shocked last time I visited Big Lots, the prices were pretty high, mostly low end products, and 90% of the section was empty. I used to get fantastic products there

I always get the Wet N Wild brown eyeliner called Simma Brown Now at DT! It’s probably the best eyeliner I have ever tried. Not good for waterline but perfect for everything else. I wish you had picked it up and gave it a go. Love the video btw.

I was thinking she could keep it to mix in with other foundations that might be too pale, thick and/or drying. It seemed to add a lot of hydration and blend out well.
