I have to say I have been scrapbooking and junk journaling for many many yrs honestly junk journaling is very similar to scrapbooking I love it because you can add just about anything..any and all JUNK!! lol from candy/ gum wrappers chip bags/ I've used as a pockets in mine I love using candy bar wrappers thts so fun well good luck in your junk journaling venture i sure hope you give it a try it is definitely calming at least for me

You can treat it like a photo album...sit back and enjoy looking at it from time to time. Especially if you use real photos in pockets. Your junk journal can also be a memory keeper of sorts. I am addicted!

It's really so similar, that I don't think you would have issues. I use a lot of photos in my junk journals, so I feel like it's close to scrapbooking. Feel free to look at my junk journal videos for ideas...mine are finished junk journals so you can see how I use them. I don't have any super recent videos, but you can definitely get an idea.

Dollar Tree is my happy place. Every time I go there, I leave with a smile on my face at all the items I scored. It is the thrill of the hunt for me that lures me into this store. I just love seeing what cool items I can find for just a 1.25. Now, I just need a car! LOL! My husband works a lot. So I have to wait until he has a day off. So I can go shop at my leisure and for a long time. I like to take my time going through the store. Sometimes I circle around the store a couple times and go down the aisles in different directions, just so I don't miss anything. Call me weird, but I love my Dollar Tree!

Great haul, I've been so impressed with dollar tree lately - i would have loved to see them do rub on transfers like they did for Halloween though, like santas, snowmen, and gingerbread characters. Ps would love to see gift baskets you make!!

I'm the same way with writing things down on paper. It was my learning Style in highschool and college too. Those caster cups, just go under furniture with casters, and like it says it just protects your floors from scratching. I'm not a junk journalist nor are any of my friends or relatives, but I'll watch any kind of video--so do whatever you desire.

Hey! I'm a junk journaler too! Love finding things at DT for jjs. I taught a class earlier this year with Little Golden Books in Toy Story theme! They were so cute! The potato head stuff would be so cute in those!! They had TS flash cards and figurines, lots of things for the jjs. ❤️ We would love a jj basket giveaway! It would be fun for you to do a video of say 25-50 items to use in jjs from DT. There's lots of things to use there if you look close enough. Thanks for sharing with us!

We have the caster cup type thing under some of our furniture but none of it has wheels. Just keeps you from scratching hardwood floors etc. if you need to move something.

DT also have X-mas bags where the license plate of the truck is like a shaker card where they added red, white and green foam mini balls as snow enclosed in a clear plastic cover over the license plate. Hope I explained well.

Great haul. Loved the gift bags. I wish I could find the Hello Kitty flash cards. I use the playing cards in my junk journals to show partial dates like the two & five for December 25, ages of my granddaughters and their birth date. The small Uno cards are great for this purpose.
