Hi Noni. They opened a brand new DT just a few miles from my house. The building used to be a HUGE Bed Bath & Beyond that closed a couple of years ago. They've made it into 2 stores: a 5 Below that opened maybe a month ago, and the DT that was still closed as of last week. The store is probably the biggest DT I've been in, but it was only about 60-70% stocked. I'm hoping it'll get better with time. About half of the items were Halloween/Fall decor, some I'd never seen before. None of the black lanterns you like, and none of the small pumpkin trinket dishes (I was the one that would have used them as cat food dishes). I also looked for the Purple Optic White toothpaste, and they had other flavors, but no purple. They did have hard cover books, which none of the other DTs do. The food department is tiny, much smaller in comparison than other DTs. What was incredible was the amount of artificial flowers and plastic storage containers. I ended up spending $40, mostly in cleaning products, some fall plates and mugs, a few books, and many plastic containers. My old ones will get a new life before being recycled. I'll cover them with either seasonal gift wrap paper and mod podge. or paint them. The papered ones can get flowers or pinecones for decoration for the dining room table. The painted ones (larger ones) I'll make holes on bottom with screwdriver and use as pots for live plants outdoors. This is too long. Thank you.

When I was younger we had Sauerkraut with sausage, any kind of sausage, ground sausage, cooked, or polish sausage or any kind or even hotdogs and added tomato sauce very good.

I know. We call them locusts. I have also seen a few grasshoppers. They get so loud in the evening. It's sad because it means summer is coming to an end. Also, Indiana just named the firefly lightning bug as our state insect thanks to Cumberland Elementary in West Lafayette. 4 yrs of gathering signatures and writing letters to the governor and legislators.

If you purchase several of the lighted cream "string" balls, you could spray paint them for fall or Christmas decor, or even for next spring or red, white, and blue for patriotic occasions.

Hi Noni, I love sauerktaut, but my Hubby and Kids don't like it, I found that jar too and only bought one. My Family always had it with pork ar hotdogs. I found a new spice Colonna Tomato /basil srasoning.I tried it on my cheese pizza, really liked it, also alot of Disneys out for the kids. Great haul. 😍

I'm still waiting for one of my DT to get those nail polishes in. Ive also seen hauls of Stila lip glosses that i really want to find. I think thats the fun part of shopping at DT is hunting and finding awesome products at a fration of the price. I love those LED balls! Id put a bunch of them in a bowl all lit up 😁

When I make pork and sauerkraut, I add some chopped apple to the sauerkraut. I usually make mine in the oven. I love those Hot Wheels, I'll have to look for them.

To make another color, put the reddish shade on first, then put the pink on over it. I do this almost all the time. And try the pink over the blue to get a purple shade. Hope it works for you.
