My family doesn’t do a haunted house but we do decorate the front of our house A LOT! We started with basic decorations (Jack-O-Lanterns, skeletons, spiderwebs etc). Then a few years later we got a thing to go in the window, it’s a white sheet and a projector so it makes it looks like there are ghosts and zombies in the house, and we got a strobe light to go in an upstairs window. The year after that we got a lot of stuff. We got a smoke machine, a casket/coffin which we moved the strobe light inside of, a huge graveyard scene and a skeleton cemetery guard that speaks when you walk past it!

Having a little kick back for my two teenage sons on Halloween. They invited several teen friends to come over. They are hanging in the backyard and I will use your idea near the gate to the backyard. Instead of completely covering all 3 sides their friends can go though this little diy haunted house to get to the back yard. Like a haunted party entrance. Im also going to hide a bluetooth to play some spooky sounds inside the tent as they walk through. Thanks for sharing your idea!

Of course you are using light weight materials and it is windy, problem I have every year. If I set up my plastic the day before the wind comes up and blows it down overnight, but if I don't there is no wind. That is why I am using plywood this year.

I have a 2 car carport with steel beam construction. I am painting the plywood sheets black and hanging them from the beams to form the maze. These will be marked and reusable. Some bracing will be used to keep them together and black plastic and black duct tape will be used to block out external light sources.

another think you could do to make it creepier is to buy a diffuser they can be pretty cheap so even though you can’t get it to dollar tree it’s still pretty good idea because it’s like a much cheaper fog machine

Thanks for the video! I did mine today and it came out nice. Only thing is my canopy is a 12x12 so the tablecloths were difficult to put on so I brought 2 packs of black plastic from Lowes and it did the job! Which I could post a pic but I don't know how to.

One time I set up a haunted trail in the woods for a Halloween party and we put fog machines spooky decorations and the actors had chainsaws and were dressed as clowns! It was VERY scary!

Nice video. I like how you kept it inexpensive to your decoration of the wall on the EZ Up. You should check out some of my videos showing other materials to use for the EZ Up. Such as tarps and Beef Netting for the spider web look. Yes, the tarps are more expensive but will last for a longer time and more durable. Wind is one of our troubles with tape with our walls, we use Zipties. Happy Halloween!!

Mariel Hernandez No my husband actually picked some up from some where else not sure where he got them. But Dollar Tree does have Halloween lights as well my husband just preferred them cause we already had them on hand.

Due to covid this year I am having a Halloween party for my kids ages 1,4,5 as well as their relatives I’m definitely going to do this for my kids have most of everything I need now just need some items for the inside love this don’t want to make it scary just kid friendly
