Hello! By accident, I just found your KZbin channel and this video. It is very interesting to me, especially regarding doll clothes sold at Dollar Tree, and specifically those made for 11 1/2" and 12" fashion dolls such as Barbie. I'm a senior citizen, living on Social Security, and I recently acquired three orphaned Barbies. They were all a hot mess and were in dire need of a good bath, shampoo and clothing. I rescued (bought) them from thrift stores. I went to Dollar Tree and bought some of the $1.25 outfits, some on the "Fashion & Fun" cards, and others on the "Fashion Doll Poupee Mode" cards. Some of the clothes fit my Barbies, but some of them did not. Some of the stretchy knit items, mainly bathing suits, blouses/tops fit just fine. But pants made of woven cloth with velcro closures or anything with a fitted waistband were WAY TOO SMALL for Barbie-sized waist, booty and thighs. The "Fashion & Fun" doll clothes seemed to be of slightly better construction and quality than the "Fashion Doll Poupee Mode". On the positive side, all of the shoes fit just fine, and i like the matching purses. Have you had a similar experience with these doll clothes not fitting? My plan is to set up my sewing machine and modify the clothes so they will fit my Barbies.
