DOLLAR TREE MIRROR SHELF D.I.Y TUTORIAL

Hey Bargain Family! Thank you so much for joining me today. In this tutorial, I'll be showing you guys how to create a mirror shelf using Dollar Tree products. These things are surprisingly sturdy. I can't stress it enough. I used command strips to hang the shelves because I rent and don't want to put holes with nails in the wall. Mirrors are mirrors. If they fall on the ground they'll crack. If you use command strips like I did, make sure you get the command strips that can hold 5lbs. I used two 5lb strips to hang every single mirror except for the mirror that didn't have a shelf. I used a 2lb strip that can be purchased at Dollar Tree to hang the mirror without the shelf. I just rather be safe than sorry. Don't think they're just gonna fall on the ground because I'm writing this! Mines are still up. I just want to make sure you guys take the proper steps to have a beautiful mirror shelf than broken mirror all over the ground. Thanks for reading!

-If you can't find the small mirrors at your Dollar Tree, Menards carries inexpensive small mirror pieces.

This is awesome. To get that fully covered detail you mentioned where all the sides are covered with correct sized mirrors you can use a glass cutting tool or scoring tool and cut your mirrors. Just measure the sides of your boxes and using the larger mirrors cut to size. Then just cover the 3 exposed sides of the box.

I'm so gonna do this but I'm gonna use a long wood board for the back and small pieces of wood for the shelves. Then just paint, screw in the boards and glue on the mirrors. And a hangy thing in the back, lol. Thanks for the inspiration.
